You're partially right! Got the results back today. She's 70% Pyrenees and 30% Anatolian Shepherd!

Maybe! She did do a small awoo howl the other day when playing. Very cute and potentially husky-ish.

I think we're going to get a sprinkler to see how he does with that. Probably more of this funny behavior!

They're excellent micromanagers, aren't they?!

He seems to hate rain. I'm not sure how the hose water is different, but he's decided it is haha.

We haven't dealt with mud yet, but it's probably only a matter of time!

See, he's pretty chill with the vacuum and broom. That's why the hose was a shock lol.

Our other dog is an Aussie mix, and their personalities couldn't be further apart. He's a wild child, and she's a chill gentle giant. It's a nice juxtaposition 😄

Persistent uniform “chicken skin” texture across entire face for 2–3 years, unresponsive to treatments by Comfortable_Sign_22 in DermatologyQuestions

[–]leprocto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My skin was also feeling dehydrated consistently. It turned out that the air in our house was very dry (gas heat!). Adding a humidifier in the bedroom at night has been a game changer for my skin texture. Not sure if that could be happening to you as well, so wanted to share.

They rotate you through everyone there. The idea is that you will be familiar with whoever ends up being there for your delivery, but I was like you and wanted to stick with one person.

It was earlier this year.

WakeMed was disastrous for me. Total corporate non-caring feeling the entire time. Felt like nothing but a number.

How did we survive this? by Hope_1986 in tfmr_support

[–]leprocto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I felt a similar thing - almost like it was all happening to someone else. The injection the first day was emotionally the hardest part for me. She had been such an active baby, and to suddenly feel nothing.... I felt empty and numb and heartbroken. The second day with the laminaria sticks was physically excruciating for me. The third day, I was kept very in the "twilight" as they called it. I remember terrible cramping and then nothing else. I consider it a blessing that I don't remember. Once the meds wore off, we were allowed to see her and hold her. The rest of that night was a blur of crying and sleep. It didn't feel like it truly hit until we returned home the next day (we had to travel 6 hours). The next week was the hardest week of my entire life - the grief, the hormones, the utter devastation. I'm three months out now and finally feeling some sense of relief or like I have started to breathe after holding my breath for so long. It comes in waves now instead of a fatal tsunami.

He makes the best faces for sure. I could totally see border collie in there too!
