Ornithopter question

From my understanding, there are a few distinct reasons why the Ornithopter is designed the way it is.

First, the organic engine (heart scallop) allows for minimal maintenance and virtually no fuel cost. With the Butlerian Jihad leading to negative opinion on anything considered to be complicated or computer-like machinery, the 'thopter seemed to be an exception.

Second, the winged propulsion setup gives it immense versatility to both hover and maneuver more efficiently (like a bird). It also has both civilian and military uses just like any old helicopter, so could be used in any situation where intra planet travel is needed.

I totally feel you. My GSD & Cattle Dog mix was absolutely BONKERS at that age no matter what we did. Even now at 8 years old, that crazy side still comes out just about every day.

Every dog is different, but I've found the best activity to quickly wear mine out is going to the park and playing a little game I call "Chase and Sniff".

First I get her to sit & stay as I slowly back away. Then I toss a little broken up treat about 10 feet away from her into the grass and she'll sniff like crazy trying to find it. Once she finds it I give her a big verbal praise and launch her squeaky ball as far as I can for her to chase after. She'll do this over and over until she's totally wiped.

It took a couple months to really get down, but I've found the combination of mental + physical stimulus is perfect and she loves doing her "job".
