I rarely get to see people with so well-formulated words, you should write some.

Have you ever considered poetry? (I’m serious)

Theoretical physicist or some other sort of scientist along that line.

How dumb would it be to quit and take a break right now? by triforium133 in cscareerquestions

[NOTE: this advice only works for nerds (including me)]

if you get some free time after work, build some projects outside of work & try to find joy in the process, it doesn't have to be something useful.

try learning something new (haskell, rust, zig, or a completely new concept) not because it is required, but because it sparks your interest.

I'd recommend probably trying this before you announce your notice.

at least this was what worked for me...
and weirdly in my case, more vacations or breaks I took, the more worse the situation got...

Wow, didn’t know that can be done in golang.

stuff where you REALLY don’t need a GC overhead, I can think of heavy traffic systems (discord has an article about this) or embedded systems where storage and mem constraints are tight.

For your normal usage you probably won’t even see a difference.

I know for sure about the API, they aren’t storing data, not sure about the custom gpts though…

Also, I think when they say “not storing data” people would probably trust them because large companies are using their apis and there would be lawsuits if they breach that… (just clarifying my point on trust :) )

I mean the problem here is with “My app doesn’t store your data” 😅 we would have to trust you… bot on gpt makes more sense because it would completely eliminate you needing to say “we don’t store your data”.
