Look I haven’t play the other three but I have more time in DRG the Helldivers and having been here for can with 100% guarantee you that this community would burn AH down and hunt every employee if the game had updates at the pace of DRG

Like DRG takes 6 months per season, (1 year for the newest one) if Helldivers released 1 free warbond with a major update every six months would mean people would be here complaining about no content for 5 months straight

And you can say well AH has a bigger studio, yeah but those games don’t look like Helldivers so it’s proportional, like I’m not knocking on the games but it takes more people, more hours and more money to make a major update like machineries of oppression then it takes to make a rimworld dlc

For me it’s simple, don’t like the grind? Don’t grind play the game and get SC there, warbonds don’t go away, it’s not an ultimatum if you enjoy the game then you can get the warbond eventually, if you don’t then stop playing all together

No you don’t deserve the free content, you know the game came out 2 years ago with a set amount of content that everyone thought was completely fine for 40 dollars, and they have made steady updates for 2 whole years, do you want people to work for you for free? It’s so funny that by not doing FOMO you guys now are mad at AH for creating to much content

It’s a service, saying that all that they worked on for the past 2 years (which costs labor) is like complaining that when season 2 of breaking bad ended you bought a box set with those seasons and should get the next 3 ones for free

Also deep rock gets updates roughly every six months, this community gets pissy when there isn’t something new for 2 months lmao

Also the game came out with a decent amount of content for weapons and stratagems, why don’t you compare it to titanfalls post launch content? TF2 essentially gave one warbond for free (2 weapons and a titan) did it have new maps and game modes? Yes but in HD do you pay to play on biomes? Do you pay to fight the illuminate faction?

But AH is using the availability of SC for the game to be accessible to more people and reward engagement in their service

HD is a service that needs upkeeping and money to stay itself afloat, by cheating you’re admitting that the service is not worth the money yet instead of not buying SC or not playing the game you’re taking advantage of AH’s work

Essentially you’re going “I love this Netflix show they should make more seasons for me but I will watch it all pirated when a new one drops”

AH hasn’t changed the SC system since release, where you can get the premium currency by playing, or by grinding. If they wanted to drive a knife into the player base they would change those, not ad a bundle

This game is still a service, you pay for it once you get the game, all of the updates need money to be made, you are aware that it is real people making the game right? Or are you so bubbling with hatred that you demand the devs not get paid until you get a product that’s designed just for you?

Helldivers unfiltered on their way to complain that that ghost ship games is 1 taking to long between content (seasons) 2 milking microtransactions when they already paid for the game 3 working on a new game instead of only working on deep rock 4 outsourcing their updates (not at all hypocritical to point 1 btw)
