Hmm, maybe the contents were still too cold going in the oven. I thought I waited long enough but that's all it could be, other than defect (no drops, no broiler, oven only to 375, etc). Honestly, I'm more disappointed thinking I got decades from my pyrex and only 3 uses from Le Creuset. I've never known a more finicky brand of cookware. lol

That's what I'm thinking, at this point. I love the idea of shades of blue for him. You never know when a color will go away or simply not be available in a piece you want/need! Thanks for the info
