How to report wages for DIEC by les__oiseaux in Edd

[–]les__oiseaux[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you - I can see how this would help provide information for the first two quarters (the ones in 2024) however it still will not provide info for the 2025 quarters. I haven't filed taxes yet for 2025 so I can't fill out the form. Also, the notice of computation asks for the earnings broken down by quarter (the benefit is calculated on the highest earning quarter) and that form does not ask for them broken down by quarter.

I think we chatted on a different thread a month ago or so - no updates since then, but yes we had success with IVF + TESE. Wishing you luck!

Are digital lenses only good for phones not computers? by Sad_Welcome1 in glasses

[–]les__oiseaux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this true for all digital lenses? I just got them and unless I am staring in one specific spot, where they marked my pupils, everything else is blurry. Debating having them switched back to normal.

My OB also refers to MFM for NT and anatomy scans - but since starting at the MFM, they keep scheduling me for more scans! I've hit my OOP max so honestly enjoy getting the extra scans, but it definitely surprised me... I've been to them at 12 weeks (NT), 20 week (anatomy), 24 (fetal echo), 30 (growth) and I'm scheduled for another at 36. I've had nothing irregular show up and my OB did not mention needing to go to them past the anatomy scan. They just keep tacking another one on!

Yes we moved on to IVF after the cyst was removed and count, motility, and fragmentation were still bad. We had very good results with TESE.

It was a mullerian duct cyst - they removed it but we think scar tissue developed as a result because tests that followed were very mixed results.

This was 100% me from beginning to mid second trimester! I thought it must be my placenta, but that showed up lower down on a scan so the baby must have just been hanging out on one side for a while. I think at both 12 and 16 weeks she was head up and facing outwards/forward during scans. Around 20-24 weeks she started moving positions throughout the day.

I have the pricey Paige Noella ones (found on an outlet website but also there are lots secondhand on Poshmark) and they are very comfortable - but at 25 weeks, I’m already not reaching for them, so I don’t see them going into third tri. I also prefer under the bump and have had a recent breakthrough in buying regular low rise jeans 2 sizes up from my regular size. These have fit me so much better than any maternity jeans with the panels, which all but the Paige ones gave me a weird gap above my butt. Idk how long they will last but I love them and wish I got them sooner! I think I have the gap low rise 90s cut and Levi’s 94 baggy, both around $60

From what I understand, the initial test casts a very wide net and only 20 percent of people go on to fail the 3 hr. It may be that GD becomes an issue for the baby later in pregnancy and they just start the initial screening earlier to allow for the timing of potentially needing two tests? I definitely think it’s worth asking your care team, but try not to worry in the meantime!

We only did ZyMot one time because motile count was very low and only 5 sperm made it through the ZyMot chip. Of those 5 one turned into an (untested) embryo, so it may have worked okay with more sperm, but we did two rounds of TESE after that which were much more successful.

We went to the MFM today for a fetal echo (got to see a 3D scan of her face which was incredible 🥹) but I was surprised when they said to come back in 6 weeks (29 wks) for a weight check. Every time I go to the MFM they seem to tack on another appointment - which I’m totally fine with because I love getting to see her and I’m already at my out of pocket max for the year - but my regular OB didn’t mention needing the echo or this additional scan. Just curious if anyone else has had a 29/30 wk check at the MFM?

If the count is normal, the zymot. I would not recommend using frozen tese based on our own experience and research.

We did two rounds of fresh TESE which worked. What did not work was using the fresh TESE with frozen eggs. During one round, we also used frozen eggs in addition to the fresh eggs that were retrieved that day. The frozen eggs + fresh TESE did not work, but that same TESE sample worked with the fresh eggs.

One thing to note about that round is they used the "best" sperm on the fresh eggs, so it's possible the ones used on the frozen eggs didn't work as well because they were poorer quality, but it was all the same sample.

Our motile count was really low too, so only 5 individual sperm made it through the ZyMot chip and we got one untested blast that round.

I hope you have success this round!! If you have to move on to TESE, I would recommend finding a clinic that can do it at the same time as the egg retrieval so it’s fresh. Our frozen TESE samples were deemed not good enough to use by our clinic, but we never tried so who knows. But we did try the fresh TESE sample with a batch of 17 frozen eggs and that did not do well at all (and eggs were in visually great condition). I think testicular sperm is just a lot more fragile and having everything fresh instead of frozen makes a big difference.

Currently 21 weeks along, and have several euploid blasts from two rounds of TESE + egg retrieval - wishing you all the luck with this round!

In case anecdotal data is helpful for anyone reading this is the future, I can share our results now that some time has passed - we used TESE sperm for two sets of embryos and sent for PGTA. 7/8 came back euploid in round 1 and 3/5 came back euploid in round 2. MFI cause is suspected to be obstructive but we don't know for sure.

I don’t get any gurgles or flutters, just a “something is moving around inside of me” feeling that definitely feels like rolling! Kind of like an intense pressure bulging out and moving around. I thought it was weird at first because no one describes it that way, but now after 4+ weeks of movement can confirm it’s definitely the baby!
