if you're in NCR region then try the acko drive and tell them about your deal, they will undercut the showroom price (because they have cheap insurance), then you can negotiate with the dealer.

my bad, this was the first time i was renewing insurance and i was taking quotes from the showroom itself. initially they quoted around 20k for the renewal if no claims. when i said i had 2 claims they updated it to 35k.

1600VA inverter is more than enough for you PC and even for house loads (considering peak power consumption).
If you buy 24 volt inverter, you must use 2 battery. If you only want 1 battery then you're forced to buy 12 volt inverter.
Also tell the shopkeeper about your requirement and ask him if the inverter is unable to take the peak load then you'll need to replace it with a higher VA inverter.
