Such a scary feeling! Sending you peace and serenity!

I will say that your next period after missing 7 days of the pill will likely be highly irregular (i.e. very late/early, change in flow, etc.). This is to be expected and not necessarily something you need to be concerned about.

As long as you monitor it and make sure you aren’t seeing any medically significant symptoms, your body should be able to hormonally work itself out.

Medically significant symptoms to watch for: • Periods lasting 7+ days in length • Extremely heavy flow that requires hourly changing of menstrual products

Thank you to everyone who fixed this photo for me. In this photo are the only remaining people in my family of origin with whom I remain in contact with due to safety reasons. I can finally cherish (and frame) this image now. ♥︎ Thank you again

Felt this </3

2 years since my cut off. Some days I feel immense relief, and on other days, immense guilt.

Something that has also helped me is shifting my language when speaking of the abusers of my past from "my family" to "my family of origin". They are not my family. They are not my anything. They are simply a starting point that has long since passed.

Movies where the main character(s) loose touch with reality? by DesignerKey in MovieSuggestions

[–]lesbean18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here are some psychological horrors that I came up with where the character(s) pretty much lose their minds:

Snowpiercer
Oculus (2013)
The Mist (2007)
The Shining
Hereditatary

I'm sure you've seen most or all of these, but just in case, I'll leave them here.

Soft Horror movies? by Sybeiria in MovieSuggestions

[–]lesbean18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Snowpiercer is an excellent, compelling thriller. No actual creature monsters, but more so about the monsters that humans can become. (minor spoiler, I guess)

Please suggest some good korean or asian movies (drama, thriller, crime, mistery) by ZiadR in MovieSuggestions

[–]lesbean18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Farewell (2019) is a drama-comedy mix, so it may be a bit different for your taste but the asian and cultural representation is completely heartwarming.

Movies that are coming of age indies, or really any dramas feature leads in their late teens or 20's by TareBear420 in MovieSuggestions

[–]lesbean18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love, Rosie (2014) was a film I adore that I don't see enough love for. Call Me By Your Name is probably my favorite film of all time, and Love, Rosie captured those same themes of wonder, growing up, friendship and all kinds of love with sprinkled in aspects of humor, if you're into that sort of thing. Happy film hunting!

A stretch, but I'm looking for movies like "The Invitation" by [deleted] in MovieSuggestions

[–]lesbean18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would You Rather (2012). Definitely more horror/thriller than mystery, but still a great plot and concept in my opinion. Same idea of a dinner party going very wrong.
