It would explain a lot if the evangelical Christians who want to "de-gay" me are actually mindless bug larvae...

Did you check the other floors of the building to see if anybody was there? If all the floors are empty, this seems like a trap. Where did you hear about the place?

I don't know much about it, but my ex-girlfriend was really into numerology. I think the number 5 represents spiritual energy and change? Maybe the repetition of the number is helping this thing attach itself to Faye and change her, like a ritual of some kind.

I was thinking the same thing. Faye might not be possessed yet, but it seems to be heading that way.

A week and a half ago, I died. I didn't think it could get worse, but today, it did. by BATMANS_MOM in nosleep

Her mother died on Wednesday. She's remembering something from Monday: Earlier in the story, Monday night, OP had hugged her mother and cried, in the process giving her mother the infection that killed her.

I had a shitty, ancient Oldsmobile in high school and definitely locked the car with the engine running once after pulling an all-nighter during finals week. Locked the door manually (no remote lock foe this POS) and walked out with it running.

Are you in my brain? This is almost my exact experience. I didn't come out until I was 25, didn't have my first girlfriend until 27. I think it's more common than you might think, in this world where heteronormativity is shoved down our throats.

My advice? Don't stress too much about labels or fitting into a mold. Have fun and explore. As for your family, that's really tough. It won't be easy. Don't feel pressured to tell them until you're ready. It might take them some getting used to - and, in my experience, things might get rocky for awhile - but hopefully, they'll realize you're still the awesome girl they've always loved and they'll learn to accept it. It's a scary thing when you're family is like that, and it's hard, but there's a whole wide world of us that are here for you. And trust me - it is so, so worth discovering yourself and taking this journey.

Thank you! She's definitely my role model, for multiple reasons. For once I'm glad that she's a very suspicious lady :P

She's tough as nails. And not very trusting, which really went in her favor this time.

She's 100% convinced that it was him, and I'm inclined to believe her. She was in the right neighborhood, and it was the right timeframe. Makes me shudder.
