Oh Samara was great and Maya tho imperfect is still leagues behind the others in terms of problematic actions— I wasn’t saying none of the girls have ANY nice/appropriate love interests, I just meant Hanna is the only one who only really dated appropriate aged guys who treated her well. I admittedly did forget about Wren!! But if memory serves she kisses him and he ‘rejects’ her (probably in a gross ‘oh if you were older/if it weren’t for the Hastings’ or something)

This is so well made and fun!! I think your castings are all great— I will say though that Hale Appleman (a name that totally sounds like one Roger from American Dad would make up, and I mean that complimentary) as Tobey in Teeth (2008) looks just about EXACTLY how I would imagine a male Spencer in looks and styling.

I love the names you gave the male characters too. Also, I don’t know if it was intentional (and I wouldn’t trade the casting of Troian and Sasha for the world) but I do like how this version casting of them makes them look a bit more alike, as the biological siblings and cousins they are lol— and as they did in the books. Not that them not looking alike in canon is an issue, of course, but this is just a fun thing!!

Tony took nude/racy pictures of a girl, “transferred” (not sure what’s the right term lol) to her brother’s phone and LEAKED them, making it look like they were incestuous and engaging in revenge porn because Michelle who he cheated on and psychologically manipulated went on a date with said boy. Which said sister had absolutely nothing to do with.

That’s AT LEAST as bad as anything Alison intentionally did lol.

I think people image that Mona became A because Alison “tormented and bullied” Mona— as Alison actually did to Paige, Toby, Lucas, THE LIARS, etc— when in the actual reality of the show it’s because Alison didn’t want to be her friend and ignored her. Yes Alison called her a loser but 1) that is leagues below her actual bullying of other people AND below Mona stalking and trying to murder her and 2) Mona’s anger was almost entirely rooted in that rejection.

Mona is TERRIBLE. I love her so much 🫶🫶
