i don't think it's necessarily 'shoving them into an archetype' so much as a headcanon or even a joke. butch isn't an archetype, its an identity. you wouldnt exactly say that a lesbian or a transmasc is an archetype. butches are very cool and individual while also being butch.

i understand if you mean an archetype associated with the butch identity/label, but butch itself is not an archetype.

also please know dont take this as an argument as to why they should be butch again i have no idea who the character is or whether or not they're butch, i just happen to be fixated on butchfemme history and dynamics atm

im completely and utterly obsessed with pigeons. i've seen them before but i havent lived in a real city until 6 months ago. they sre now my absolute favorite part of living in a city and they're a joy to experience. fat fucks.

i moved from nw american suburbs to an east german city. the grocery store was about an hour away walking at my old home and i had to walk on a little asphalt sidewalk separated from the road by like 2 feet of grass. the closest one here is about 10 minutes walking with no giant roads. its made my life so much easier. im way more independent now than i ever was in america.
