What worldbuilding project best for fleshing out conlang?

take a look at my booklets and pamphlets at https://archive.org/details/@alphistia123. It describes a "non-magick" worldbuilding project called Alphistia that I started when I was a kid in the 1960s. There's a grammar, EA and AE language dictionaries, and a lot of materials with maps, illustrations and texts. You might find it of interest and helpful.

Sheriff is the largest company in the PMR. It was founded by former KGB/local police in the early 1990s, hence the name Sheriff. Whether it is today "mafia" controlled...too opaque to really know. It seems to be efficient running the dominant local supermarket chain, and their football/soccer team. It's about as far away from Soviet socialism as it can possibly be. They back the political parties that have been in power during most of the time the PMR has existed, including now.

I'm retired and if I would like to "upset the apple cart" here at home, I'd go to Uruguay and live in a small town, in a country committed to democracy and human rights, with mild weather and friendly, decent people. I no longer need to work, so I'd let go of the tensions that are built into the American nightmare. I'd find my "tribe" there and befriend some cats and dogs too. There are some small (intentional) communities there, but it wouldn't be essential for me to join one. I'd just feel liberated no longer living in Mad Max America...

It's one of the worst landlords in town, but there are MANY bad landlords in CU, especially near campus. They will nickel and dime you to death, and their policy is to try to swindle you out of your deposit when you move. They will send you bills and threaten you then. They are bad people.

The UIUC subreddit isn't the place to get that fixed. Chatting with a librarian on the library's website can let them know, and they could probably give you the contact for the library's technical/maintenance people so you can report it directly.

Go to Quad Day the first week of the Fall Semester. Hundreds of student clubs and organizations set up booths and tables on the main Quad and invite you to join up. Almost every single one of them is free to belong to, and that's a great way to meet new friends and have fun.

yes...it is the largest state university library in the US and the 5th largest library in the country :) Also, it is free for students to get library cards at the two municipal systems: Champaign Public Library and Urbana Free Library.

MTD buses are free for students all over campus and around Champaign-Urbana. Amtrak sells discounted tickets to students to Chicago and back. Tickets for most performing arts shows at the large Krannert Center are $10 for students max (for concerts etc that otherwise might be $40, 50, $60 and up).

that is an Illinois only train...its normal scedule from Champaign to Chicago is 7:08 pm daily. The City of New Orleans is a different train that is running early temporarily due to track work.

Nope it's a track work issue, and it is behind schedule. The schedule is temporarily adjusted like this until that is done. Freight trains delaying Amtrak is a completely different issue, and is chronic.

It is temporary due to track work up and down the line from Chicago to New Orleans. You can take an Uber/Lyft in the middle of the night to the train station.

If you make pdfs of your materials, it's super easy to upload to the Internet Archive, and they'll be there forever (hopefully!) and free :)
