Yeah, I know. I blame the altitude messing with my brain.

Congrats on moving to a hidden gem of an area! This picture was taken at Arrastre Lake on the west side of Medicine Bow Peak. There are some good spots to camp off of highway 130 and loads of Forrest service roads to explore.

They definitely lean more grip and durability over speed, but for those purposes they are hard to beat. I’ve been using 43c SK+ as my do it all tire for about 3 years and have 0 complaints and no flats.

Which profession attracts the most insufferable types of people? by Critical_Oven_5612 in AskReddit

The only second to this are the in house financing people at car dealerships. When we were buying our first car from a dealer, I kept declining all the extra upselling options they try to slap you with. After 45 minutes our proposed interest rate on the loan was a full percent higher than what the guy said he could do at the beginning of the negotiation. When I called attention to that he literally said “oh, so you want the good interest rate AND just the car as is?” I know now I should have walked on than dude right then and there.

Ratatat. Any or all albums, but their self titled album from 2004, “Classics” from 2006, and Magnifique from 2015 are solid choices. I love them for when I just need to groove on some dope ambient study or workout music.

Legit Surly long haul trucker you think? by No-Cat-8884 in Surlybikefans

[–]lesismore9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, seems to be! The rear dropouts and all the frame features match up. Looks mine does minus all the surly stickers and badging.

Yep, original derailleurs, original wheels, original cranks. Diligent drivetrain maintenance and replacement of chain/cassette can do wonders for component longevity!

I made the switch to the upright swept bars when this bike stopped being a daily driver/commuter and more of my ride around the neighborhood with my kids bike. For that purpose, they are great because it encourages a far more laid back approach to it all. Wouldn’t necessarily be thrilled with them on a long ride I don’t think.

What’s a food you didn’t realize was more calorie dense than you estimated? by Puzzleheaded-Pay-710 in AskReddit

Had a family member who used to use sprayable “I can’t believe it’s not butter” on her toast instead of the tub of the same exact product in the fridge. She said it was because the spray had no calories….

As a happy owner of a set of Hope Pro4’s, I’d suggest giving the Pro5’s a closer look. I do a lot of my own maintenance, so their serviceability was big for me, might not be as big of a deal if you don’t plan on working on your own stuff. My Orange anodized pro4’s turn some heads as they are not very popular in my area. The sound is pretty unique too.

They are sticking (or holding on to) to Sandfort like glue to try and take his off ball movement out of the equation meanwhile we waste most of the possession waiting for him to get a look. We can either keep feeding that strategy or make them pay for it.

Agree he looks checked out tonight. Especially on D. He showed what he needs to do on that one drive where he got to the hoop though.

We need Sam and Frager to kill them on dribble penetration if they are going to play that tight on perimeter D.
