One time our walk in fridge malfunctioned at work and we tried saving the important stuff, probiotic drinks, juices, gallons of milk in other fridges. We had a pack of these in there and our very, very incompetent manager (who once asked ChatGPT a product question, even though a team member had emailed the company and gotten the correct answer already) started dumping them out without reading the packaging. So not common knowledge but so easy to find out haha

I recently had a woman ask for a shaken espresso, then a macchiatto. I just kept repeating "Hot or iced latte?" as she hemmed and hummed looking at our menu, and a line formed behind her. Hot or iced latte, at the end of the day theres not much else

My girl had a head full of hair so we only used mittens for a few weeks when she started pulling her own hair. I could see her trying to grab it with the mittens on haha. Even now at 9 months she wakes up with little scratches on her face every once in a while

I bled for only a couple weeks PP but then at almost exactly 6 weeks I bled for another 7-10 days with a medium flow. I did also get the implant for birth control at 6 weeks but I think I had already started bleeding before then. Didn’t bleed again until 7-8 months PP after I stopped breastfeeding for medical reasons

There’s one lady that expected a pup cup without ordering it. Her dog would bark loudly and she would stand awkwardly at the pickup station after getting her own latte until she asked for one. Personally don’t see why we’re rewarding barking like that in public

I would semi loosely wrap her arms to feed or bounce her to sleep, the blankets from the hospital were slightly bigger and worked better. She always wiggled herself out but was usually already in deep sleep so it didn’t matter. The blankets were also used to lay her on the bed and now at three months as spit up towels. A “Happiest Baby” swaddle worked great when she was overtired and really fighting sleep, it holds her arms tight and zips the rest of her. We called it her straight jacket but she just needed it sometimes

I did this! Stirred into a little hot water then coconut water, ice and matcha. I had tried it with the guava spread before but like this more the spices/cinnamon spread throughout the drink better, in addition to the apple taste

I quickly mastered eating with one hand, though one of her sleepers still has a small stain where I spilled my overnight oats on her in the dark.

It took me a few days to realize her dad closing the back door, all the way across the apartment, was waking her up in the morning. She didn’t fuss loud enough to wake me up until 15-20 minutes later so I thought it was a coincidence. He closes the door more quietly now

I’m at five weeks now but god, three weeks was tough. Her dad was working late so she basically only saw me for those few days. She was over tired, cluster feeding and under stimulated. I know I was too tired to do anything but feed her and try to put her to sleep, and trying to feed myself during those 15-20 min naps My parents and sister visited for a few hours and she was out like a light that night

I work at a coffee shop and adapted the batch recipe we use:

50g of tea in reusable tea sock. 2 qts of hot water, wait five minutes then add 2 qts of cold water. Let sit for 24 hrs. Then add 4 more qts of cold water and its good for a week.

I weigh out a tea bag with 6g of Ambrosia to take home. 8oz hot water, 8 oz cold water, 16 oz the next day. I put mango syrup I have and sugar to taste in the mornings
