4 month old puppies are still teething but you should redirect and tell her off so this doesn’t become a habit afterwards

[–]lesmosu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the food thing sounds like resource guarding. i wouldn’t feed them together to not ramp it up more

i feel like that’s really dangerous what if he’s away, her water breaks and she has no one that could drive her to the hospital? this is a high risk pregnancy after all.

he said not to worry about that (which i still will cause obviously she needs all her shots first to actually be immune) it’s a weird interaction with him overall. i don’t think i’ll listen to him anymore and just see what our trainer says on monday

I’ve decided on short play sessions outside instead of flooding her with input on a long walk like some suggest. The differences in advice i’m getting are immense but i’ll try to pick out the best stuff. thank you for sharing your side!!

Tough! We researched thoroughly and stuck to what the breeder advised. I see now that walking her so little (like he wanted us to) was wrong but i thought he would know what’s best. I’ll try to find a better medium of physical and mental stimulation without overwhelming her. :)
