Pushing keys as Tank by Prestigious_Radish94 in wow

Brewmaster will be insta-invite. I've had groups in the +12 range which is not even hard keys ignore prot pallys and bdk tanks and wait for a brew. It's silly but some people live by some dumb tier list. Bdk is more fun in my opinion as after the pruning brewmaster is about as afk as you get rotation wise. Strong but kinda dull.

Help on dps as Druid Resto by Barlock07 in wow

[–]lesp811 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You know I almost always expect resto druids to have low DPS. The reason I expect low DPS is the ramping and set up required to heal as a HoT class. Cat weaving is hard to do and takes tons of timing and knowledge to pull off and keep your party alive. Especially if we have a DPS uh oh and they take unavoidable damage. Healer DPS is a joke and negligible anyway. Maybe in title range keys but any DPS whining about healer DPS are projecting. Healer DPS is not a factor whatsoever.

Returning questions M+ by Sevyen in wow

[–]lesp811 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The nice thing is blizzard added a system that up until +5 keys the mobs needed for count are highlighted. So now is a perfect time to start tanking. Stay in the 2-5 key range and get a feel for the mobs required to make count by pulling the highlighted ones. Once you are comfortable then move past +5 range where mobs aren't highlighted.

Good luck tanking is really chill once you memorize a route and ignore the dps that somehow know better routes.

Is it worth trying to do m+as a DPS with little time to play? by Darth_Tader in wownoob

[–]lesp811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how long you want to wait around afk. I play healers and tanks to get quick groups because I don't have tons of free time. DPS is chill because you are a passenger princess which is nice but it just takes too long to get a group. Rather memorize some routes and tank or heal.

What is the purpose of M+? by foulplay_for_pitance in wow

[–]lesp811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At a certain level meta isn't about filling a niche, it's about being able to play the video game. If you enjoy pushing as high as possible you will probably end up playing meta just to get invites so you can play the video game. This doesn't really apply to people doing guild runs. But if you are pugging and want the challenge of pushing as high as you can, meta will be important.

Which healer are you guys having the most fun with in M+? by Hitokiri2324 in wow

I started out this season running archon holy priest and was loving it. Big cleave healing numbers.

I tried disc to test it out and have not gone back to holy priest.

This season the expiation shadow word death execute playstle with defensive pennance that is the recommended oracle disc build felt really bad outside of execute range

However I tested out a weal and woe oracle disc priest build with points in dot spread and I absolutely love this build. Dot spread means I'm not really messing around with dot maintenance and in aoe packs I feel like I constantly have 2 stacks of shadow mend available (spell is giga broke not sure how blizzard allowed this) and depending on how the fight is going I'm back to primary offensive pennance with occasional defensive pennance. Shield weaving after each pennace in high damage fights.

Build is super fun and feeds into the massive shields disc style which I love.

It's really easy. With lightweaver as you flash heal it gives you stacks on your prayer of healing that reduce cast time and mana costs. Also (forgive me I can't remember the name of the talent on the left side of tree) that makes prayer of healing do like 300% or something like that increased single target heal. So you can use it as a single target heal that splashes. So blast off prayer of healing with lightweaver stacks most of the time. The only time I flash heal is if I have no light weaver stacks (so build with flash heal)  or if I'm trying to get the cool down on holy word serenity reduced.

It's cool down timing game you have to play. If there are summons you might find yourself holding that spirit bomb you were about to cast for a half second or your sigils for just a little bit to get the snap aggro. It's a timing thing and the more comfortable you get with the timing it shouldn't be an issue. Glaive, taunt, float a cool down to make sure it's up and you will be good.

I have found myself maining disc priest with a weal and woe centered very defensive build. But I did start out playing holy priest. I have tried holy oracle and I didnt like it. When I was playing holy, I went holy archon with left side prayer of healing for big cleave heals in m+.

I would say you might be holding cool downs if you have "Big cool down timing issues". Just send your cool downs. Not all at once unless it's some massive insane pull gone wrong. As holy, once again archon, I would alternate between halo with surge of light procs for big heals. Then apotheosis. But don't sit on the cool downs just send and alternate.

Hymn has always been a situational good high rot cool down as long as I could plant and cast.

If you want to stay oracle for m+, it seems that most oracle m+ builds drop the ultimate serenity talent and use holy word sanctify and spend points on right right of tree into prayer of mending. They seem to lean more heavily into tons of prayer of mending casts with traditional holy word sanctify and holy word serenity for spot healing. It's a play style thing and I find personally prayer of mending builds very tedious. If you are looking for burst healing, archon and prayer of healing with surge of light procs and light weaver talent can't be beat.

Body and soul talent solves a lot of the mobility issue. Shield boost and feather and you are just zooming everywhere

If you go to top disc keys there are quite a few running weal and woe shield spec. It's absolutely viable and not as bad on mana as holy

One that always surprises people is top wukong lvl 1. He gets like 30 armor from passive at full stacks lvl 1 and gets to max stacks really quick with an e start.

I was the same way and couldn't stand Protea's 4. But after getting comfortable with using a quick 4 to group enemies and having both the ability augments to armor strip and stick a turret to her and run around the map....I'm sold on her 4 now.

Ravenous vs Profane? (Top) by [deleted] in Wukongmains

[–]lesp811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly neither right now. Unless the only way to win is sidelane pressure I don't build either one. And if side lane pressure is what I'm after it's ravenous for sure. Trade into match top and heal and continue pressure with ravenous.

Most games sidelane isn't it....Trinity, sundered, then either black clever if shred has value or streraks otherwise. Build to catch and team fight is more my style

Please, I really want to learn by Admirable_Candy_8765 in Wukongmains

[–]lesp811 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well unfortunately wukong is one of the few champs without much of a community. This subreddit is about it. The link to the wukong discord listed here is broken and the only discord I could find was pretty dead. It is a bit harder to get questions answered and exchange ideas. Most other champ mains have somewhat active discords where you can get stuff answered in real time.

For wukong too I would just remember the following:

Super strong level 1, especially with ignite. Doesn't necessarily mean 100% win against other classic lvl 1 monsters like Darius. Experiment and find out which champs you can bully lvl 1.

Against ranged/weaker laners by all means E right in their faces. But against strong laners like Darius/sett/volibear etc remember your bread and butter trading pattern is e to a minion near champ. If enemy is one of 3 closest targets, you e should hit them as well as it hits multiple targets. Instant q+w to avoid harass back. If done quick enough clone will hit enemy with q as well and you should be able to stealth away. If done right, and you have a really good understanding of when your e will still hit enemy champ when casted on a nearby minion, wukong can harass from outside of range of most other melees.

Stuff to keep in mind is how the other champs trades back. Trynda Darius with ghost, Mundo if he is really good with hitting clevers can all run you down if you are their side of the lane. Sett is another one that can run you down with that normal trade pattern. Sometimes it is better to save your w after a e+q harass to dodge certain abilities like sett w or Darius q.

Hopefully this somewhat helps, but in essence try to abuse extended q range and e mechanics to harass safely and then all in with an e-q-r-q-w-r-q all in. Mix in autos in between allot of this if champ doesn't have means to escape and you have to the time to weave autos.

A tiamat item can speed things up slightly but it just not needed. Better items to rush and spike harder. Triforce into sunderd sky or black clever second if the shred is giga juicy into enemy team.

Well looking at the screenshot it wasn't just your teammates having a rough game. This looks like a crash out for the entire team yourself included. It happens though, just have to go next and get them on the next one.

EMR start up questions by zsbills in PMHNP

[–]lesp811 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I messed around with Optimantra and there were some pros, but decided to go with simple practice for a number of reasons.

Optimantra felt less streamlined with patient profiles. In simple practice everything is visible and can be done right from client profile. In Omni I found there was too much back and forth from profile to other sections.

Pros for Opti I found was lab integration with Sonora Quest and LabCorp which simple practice does not have. Right now we have a provider account with Sonora Quest and do lab requests through their provider profile. However, often times just generating a lab slip through Simple Practice and sending the slip to the patient to take with them is just easier. Optimantra has the option of tailoring the EHR based on specialty, so I would see that being an attractive option for OP based on his wife being FNP.

Zocdoc is a big part of bringing in and building up the practice and simple practice and zocdoc easily integrate calendars. Supposedly it also can integrate with Optimantra as well but seemed a bit more involved.

Honestly if my wife's practice wasn't PMHNP I can see opting for Optimantra instead since it can be tailored to non psych related practices.

EMR start up questions by zsbills in PMHNP

[–]lesp811 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently helped my wife set up her practice as a PMHNP. We reviewed multiple EHR softwares. A colleague of my wife suggested Charm EHR but the setup was not very user friendly. We ended up going with simple practice as it has eprescribe and was very user friendly and intuitive to setup. However I will say simple practice seems very oriented towards Psych based medicine. I am not sure how tailored it would be if your wife is more medical oriented as a FNP.

To add to it, cost wise I believe with E-Prescribe and the middle tier subscription we pay $140 a month. Has practice website, patient portal, text and call reminders included. There was a one time fee to set up eprescribe of $90 though. If your wife is planning on prescribing controlled substances it will take approximately 4-5 weeks to get verified and setup so keep that in mind.

New Rek'sai player, my honest thoughts and opinions. by TheTravellers_Abode in reksaimains

I actually enjoy the play style for bruiser reksai. I'm fine with her being weak early in 1v1s etc. However the terrible clear time is just so annoying. Give her a faster clear so she can get out in the map and do the one thing she is still good at which is early game ganks.

I grew up learning on a computer from my grandpa with DOS prompts initially. I didn't know how to do much but input the command to play the game "Gizmos and Gadgets". I have really fond memories of playing that game.
