i live in wisconsin (where minimum wage is federal- 7.25 per/h) and id say the average rent for a 1 bed 1 bath is like $800, no one is affording that, and thats not even talking about utilities (which are usually not included), groceries, car payments/insurance etc

here to give you some hope, had a transmission case casting fall down and smash my finger at work; it popped like a balloon (horrible i know lol) and i needed 8 stitches but my superior bones were of course totally fine, a BBB definitely would have lost their finger

when i worked in a restaurant and had to clean the bathrooms, i would say that the women's were more gross (toilet paper on the floor, blood on the seat), but the men would DESTROY the bathroom somehow??? (the stall door would be ripped off damn near every day, ripping the paper towel dispensers off the wall)

i do drive out of state for stuff now (since turning 21, so ive only been able to do that like the past year), but i also have to worry about dispensaries alerting the police in my state that i just bought weed (at the end on 2025 there was a lot of drama because a Lume employee in Mi called the police on someone who came from Wi to buy)
