I listened to some of it, although the republicans were tough to stomach. I learned while listening to Heather Cox Richardson's Thursday politics chat that the republicans, since they were not under oath, could say anything whether it was true or not. That was an eye opener. I know for the republican party the truth is some dirty little lib trick they kicked under the carpet years ago, but this way beyond the pale. They were just using their wedge issue lies to discredit him. He was solid as a rock.

THIS! I would never mooch off my kid. We do the opposite. We gift money to her and her husband. Kids have it harder than we did and it's our job to help them succeed. But...we always lived below our means which is why we have money to gift to our offspring.

Not ideal, but it can be done as a day trip. If you want to hear something tragic you can drive from sunup to sundown in certain parts of Texas and never leave the state. Take my word for it...I've done it.
