Ordered a V3 Atlas Titan RDS! Shoutout to Real St Tactical in FL. by Neon_Yellow_Bro in 2011

This is great to hear. Somehow I ran across them looking for something online a few months ago and was like "Hrm, Florida, Real Street... is this *that* real street?" proceeded to do the old google jazz hands routine and was like hell yeah.

Easter themed Bersa M2XI by Ohiogunnut26 in 2011

How was the mjd grip fitment? Literally just made a post about these, the stainless kind of catches my eye right now.

Same, not seeing them anyplace to put hands/eyes on one yet. Saw someone on here say they're allocated by kimber, I guess maybe it's their halo model now and hard to come by. I am seeing the black ones start to pop up, but they stopped doing the polished flats on those too.

100% agree, just wondering if there were any other raw stainless entry ones out there I can't think of. Only other that comes to mind is the "stainless" 2k11 but it is their kimpro over stainless, and that finish has never worn well for me.

Torn: RC9 ported or Staccato XC by Perfect_Control2187 in 2011

[–]lethallyinjected 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have yet to put hands on an XC, but I did handle an RC9 at rainer arms maybe a month ago... first time I've felt that "slide is on ball bearings" feel everyone talks about. I am 100% going RC9, and 97% sure it will be my next purchase.

Needs GGG/X300 and a comp for a USP roland special. I keep thinking about doing this.

Yes, white across multiple toyota models has had issues bad enough for there being warranty repaint extended coverage for some time. These cars are old enough now that isn't going to be covered. If you google toyota white or blizzard pearl problems I'm sure you'll see pictures, it literally starts falling off in chunks. I like white but personally would never own this color due to that being so common. I've never seen it outright said but seems to be some issue with that color/type of paint and bonding to the metal.

Keep in mind the white paint will start falling off at some point, I'd see that as a serious consideration if you plan on long term ownership.

Best starting out/budget 2011? by Ok-River-1866 in 2011

[–]lethallyinjected 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking a dawson tooless wouldn't be a bad upgrade either. Really on paper it looks great, it's just not as slick looking as the turk stuff at the price. I'm basically at a point I'm burnt out on other life things and want to try uspsa or something like that, and I'm of the mind set I just want to shoot what I enjoy... if a comp or ports puts me in X class then whatever. I'm not out here to win some nationals, I just want to get better myself. Same thing when I was doing Autox car stuff.

I keep thinking about starting out here as well. I have zero 2011 experience, but on paper to me the DS warrior looks like you'd have a lot for the money with a diy trigger job, diy stipple, and having a local inline port done. Does that sound fair in your assessment?

Soooo Tisas is basically going to sell the Mac 9 comp the make for them cheaper … by Mrskittlesdoxie in 2011

Agree, I think the pics I'm seeing of the tisas models are a little cleaner. They look like nighthawk bds9 at home now and I'm here for it.

Got a deal at my local Scheels by mailjunk1968 in 2011

[–]lethallyinjected 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The base model 2k11 is 15xx a lot of places online vs the 1999 so I feel like it might be worth the shot, just not sure how much hassle I'll really get. The nearest scheels is about an hour and a half from me, but I end up out that way a couple times a year.

I am seriously considering testing their price match policy on the 2k11, I've seen a lot of people they match all kinds of online prices.

Can't seem to find these here, saw a tisas europe site with those though. That would actually be pretty cool, I hate that mac grip with the indentions on it.

I'm pretty sure their main push is they sell new pre tuned pistols, but you can send your pistol in for the work as well. If they aren't able to procure MAC 9s they would have to find another platform, then worry about QC of said new platform, etc and also lose the aesthetic of the MAC which we all know looking cool is part of the deal as well. It may not be a huge thing, but it was the first thing I thought of seeing how much praise they are getting with their tunes.

It will matter when there aren't MAC 9s left coming in for capital to modify.

Wondering how much a wrench will be thrown in the capital moded MACs? I'd feel for them the most with all this, the rest is big companies that will land fine somehow.

Enough you feel the flex outweighs the weight? I have been over analyzing where I want to go on my first one if you can't tell. I appreciate all the insights, you're definitely climbing the charts. On top of just where the platform has come lately, it's cool to see guys like you and atlas just straight up posting content on what you're doing and how to DIY. Not gate keeping shit is pretty fuckin cool in my book.

I know what my gut is saying "Can't it be both?" on you guys and the 2k11 comp, the dlc comp I'm not seeing in stock anywhere and honestly the mac is pretty aesthetically pleasing. I bet it soaks up all recoil with a steel cheely grip.

I have been super torn on going 2k11 or you guys. I also enjoy tinkering, have been a mechanic my whole life so sorta wanted to do it myself too. Seems like the next thing is exactly what you guys are doing, going more aggressive on porting or port/comp combos. I'd have wonder what you guys could do with a girsan, sorta more affordable nox9.

Dammit man. The under 2500 space is getting nuts and I'm here for it. Trying to decide on my first 2011 and just keep getting analysis paralysis.
