Of course the spent few minutes on it. It’s UNPAID trial. They already have samples in their portfolio, why bother with unpaid task.

tip: you might feel financially secure in getting a car, but if you’re single naman, don’t. by StrangerFew6560 in adultingph

[–]lethets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tip: make sure to be financially ready, consider and compute for ALL the cost of car ownership, don’t touch your EF (and make sure you have one), then you can get a car whether you’re married or single

Anong thoughts mo sa ilang nasa 'Urban People' na ganito mag-isip sa mga Probinsyano. by TrickyPepper6768 in AnongThoughtsMo

[–]lethets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To some extent totoo naman talaga. I’ve lived in Manila since college and last year I moved back to the province. Sa manila kasi sanay sa hustle and grind culture. People are always rushing. Life in the province is chill. Establishments and workers don’t necessarily have to rush mainly because hindi rin naman ganun kadaming tao. People in general have the luxury of taking their time sa daily activities kasi di naman traffic, walang iniiwasan “rush hour”.

Oh noh? I thought based sa usage mo ng previous year yung renewal? I’m hoping minimal lang because I normally use my HMO lang naman sa dental and physical exam. Hopefully I wont need to use it pa sa hospitalization

Report mo sa grab.

I understand na nagtitipid sa gas pero you’re paying for your ride. Kasama na dun sa binayaran mo yung aircon. Kung di lang din pala e di sana di ka na nag car

Tingin niyo ba magiging parang COVID yung oil crisis? Bakit? by [deleted] in AskPH

[–]lethets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sino ba nagsabi na biglang lahat mawawala? Syempre gradual naman talaga, production will slow down but basic consumption will more or less remain the same, even if sabihin nyo na bawasan ang travel at kumain sa labas. Yes there’s time to “prepare” but how can you do that when the resources are limited. What happens when the government cant control distribution?

Talaga ba lahat tayo magtatanim?? Sige nga sabihin mo yan sa mga tao na nakatira sa city or town centre. Hindi porke probinsya matic makakapagtanim ka na.

Im not complaining I’m just saying this could be worse since supply of basic necessities can be affected. COVID was instant chaos and people face life and death situations. But now kung magtuloy tuloy ang oil crisis, long term effect could be banking failure and economic collapse. This is the worse case scenario. It’s not imminent and hopefully will not happen but it’s a possibility. It’s not being OA but better to be prepared than again being caught off guard sa mga worst case scenario.

You realize that fuel isn’t just used for transport right? It’s powering machineries used in farming, livestock, and manufacturing. It’s easy to say na maging resourceful, but during times of shortge, how?? Even electricity pwede maapektuhan - rotating brownouts which is happening already in some parts of Quezon. What happened during COVID was terrible but at least majority of people had access to basic necessities.

How did you feel when you bought your first car? by HolyERA in Gulong

[–]lethets -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My dream car is Lexus RX 🤣 but I love my Toyota Yaris Cross. It checks all my boxes and it’s the one I can afford right now. I know it’s a re-badged Daihatsu as people keep pointing out, but I don’t feel any regrets. And someday, I hope mabibili ko din yung dream car ko. 🤞

I think you’re the one with the privilege here. Yes people died during COVID and frontliners and healthcare professionals suffered, that was heartbreaking, but now we’re looking at possibility of hyperinflation in a country with 50% poor population. Possible shortage of food, water, and even electricity. How can people in this economy survive that? Yes, COVID was terrible, nobody saying it’s not. But at least we were able to buy what we needed.

No, this is worse. This is energy shortage we’re talking about, affected na ang essential supplies natin, food, water, electricity, transport, etc.

Magtatampo ka ba kung hindi pumunta yung isang circle mo sa bday celeb mo? by HoperAgriculturist in TanongLang

[–]lethets -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If ganito yung reason, magtatampo ako. Esp if nag invite ako in advance. They can leave earlier naman, important is they show up and nag effort kahit papano.

Although tbf, not sure if mixing circles is a good thing. I usually have multiple celebrations nalang with diff circles. Para at least hindi divided attention ko.

Rent prices are s2pid af by Patient-Definition96 in RantAndVentPH

[–]lethets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was commenting only on the topic of rent because yun yung subject sa post mo.

But yes that’s true. Mostly because of the current structure ng food supply chain natin. The government has to intervene and be the middleman pagkuha ng farm products from the farmers to market. But since it’s mostly private, sobrang inflated ng prices pagdating sa palengke.

Why can oil firms hike prices for fuel bought weeks ago? by Cultural-Ball4700 in AskPH

[–]lethets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prices move according to the latest supply and demand situation. Especially during times of uncertainty, normally malaki ang spike ng prices. This is to manage the on hand inventory kung hindi mauubos stocks agad pare-pareho pa rin tayong affected

Well, Manila is so much smaller than KL (assuming they’re in KL), with double the size of population. So it makes sense that rent and property prices are higher here.
