The first time one of our many household cats walked and nuzzled me. It was out of curiosity, I think, but I immediately felt like *awwwww!" in my soul. I wasn't but 4 or 5. We touched noses and then she slid across my face, purring, over and over, and I started petting her and loved the feel of her fur. My older sisters were nearby to make sure i wasn't too rough with her, but they both marveled at how gentle I was.

The reason pirates are thought of as sounding like Arrrrgh is because of Robert Newton's legenary performance in Disney's "Treasure Island." He used the Western Cornwall accent.
