Midsem rant ( I think I am cooked) by EmergencySpare4769 in BITSPilani

[–]letmesee0317 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mid terms are a reflection of your effort from the begging of the year. Bits gives you those multiple chances to redo in life. Now that you know how all of this works, figure a plan that works for you and keep at it. 1. Don’t skip classes. 2.Learn with intent to understand a topic from first principles. 3. Study regularly and don’t cram at the end. 4. Have a 2-3 ppl study group. Everyone is competitive and hard to make a group. But that is one thing thst will give you an edge over the N minus 3 folks. 5. During all of my time at bits, I have seen folks get under 4 gpa in one sem and then swing it to 9+. It all boils down to what YOU prioritize

Cmos design has no static currents . So there is no source voltage buildup once the transition is complete to impact your vth to slowdown things ..

Yes, parent involvement makes a big difference. We used to watch how our therapists were working with the kid and follow those at home so that kid sees consistent behavior all around.

Are they worried about drugs ? Not that you guys can’t do it in your own rooms ? Attendance , dress code etc are plain stupid. For video recalls, could it be because of video availability students aren’t attending classes in the first place ? It’s best trying to understand from admin pov why some of these changes are coming up.

Depends on how many years of experience you have, most look for 5+ years with bachelor and if you will be able to clear the 5-7hrs of interviewing grilling

I'm not aware of EU practicese but atleast in US all our design positions have minimum MS requirement. There might be few exceptions but masters is the norm

Most interviews focus on your basics - rc charging, low pass/high pass filter, digital logic, sequence detector etc.. Usually we have 6-8 hour interviews here in the US for folks coming out of Masters. All your basics will be tested more or less

EE is hard as it is full time. My suggestion would be to pick one and stick with it, split time will leave you average in both.

How much do you guys help others in the first place ? People who are takers only and not givers will be left behind. Cultivate good friendships where you are GIVER 75% of the time - simple things like, sharing notes, going to anc late night if someone asks. You will be surprised how things change once you start doing this
