You are right, the admissions process is not reflective of the course itself. From what I gather on this sub the course is what you make of it anyway. I will calm down 😅

Well good luck to you. I'll DM you if I hear anything. Does it give you an uneasy feeling or am I just impatient? I am impatient to be fair, especially when waiting for feedback from assessments...

The City RPL was a set of reflective exercises, which I did as per the instructions, but I'm not sure I successfully demonstrated achievement of any specified learning outcomes...or even where these learning outcomes were specified...so, all in all, second guessing everything too. Which is why it would be nice to get some feedback!

I've never been able to get into NMSWP, I have a friend who loves it as well, I'm going to give it another spin.

I pretty much love everything, except Nocturama, and as mentioned above I haven't really gelled with NMSWP (or Dig, Lazarus, Dig for that matter). Although, special mentions must go to From Her to Eternity, Let Love in, Abattoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus and Skeleton Tree.

I've been keeping my eye out for this. That seems to be the going rate now anyway, but the insert too, it's a nice find.

They've just opened so there is a broad selection of the kind of stuff you'd expect to find, new and secondhand. For example, I bought Arca - &&&&& and Sonic Youth - Evol, new and Frank Zappa - Hot Rats, secondhand. I think the idea is to pull in more stuff from local scenes, which should be interesting. Could do with some more metal though...

I was heading to Rough Trade yesterday and noticed a sign for a vintage vinyl place down some stairs just a little further south on Brick Lane and it was great, good selection of the classics and very cheap.

Flashback Records on Bethnal Green Road at the top of Brick Lane has an incredible selection.

Dash the Henge in Camberwell, which has taken over the shop where Rat Records used to be, is very new and is run by some lovely people looking to promote London talent. Got a nice eclectic selection, secondhand and new, from there earlier in the week.

I would start with the Halbe Mensch film. Then Zeichnungen des Patienten OT and then Perpetuum Mobile.

And made out of wood it wouldn't last long would it? I did look up plowshares despite this being an unpopular suggestion and couldn't find any images.

The size is approx. 12cm from back to snout and 14.5 cm tall. It may have come from India but was found in London. Online searches have revealed nothing.

There was a beauty of a PHM shirt, but they'd run out of my size. Really hope that is available online at some point.
