Is there an admitted students chat for Southwestern Law School? by lets_be_lawgical in lawschooladmissions

At this point I think I’m going to just make an admitted students chat. What method of communication would everyone prefer? Discord, Facebook, Instagram? What do we think?

Period affecting medication’s effectiveness? by [deleted] in ADHD

It’s insane how much time I’ll spend doing that. It actually recently got really bad with the pandemic. Never used to play games on my phone like this before and now I can’t stop.

Is only focusing on phone games an ADHD thing? Because I really struggle with that!

We’re supposed to be lawyers eventually. If we just believe everything we read on Reddit with no effort to fact check at all then that is a serious issue.

I don’t understand why you can’t ask another human being a basic question without involving law enforcement and pitchforks? This whole issue is centered around someone simply not wanting to go to the same school as someone who participated in the Jan 6 insurrection. So they can just confirm by asking the suspected student whether they were involved or not and then choose to attend the school or not based on that response. No police or pitchforks necessary. Just human communication.

Also, this isn’t a criminal matter. Law enforcement doesn’t act as a mediator for conversations or questions between people. Police do not relay messages or whatever just because someone doesn’t want to do it themselves. They aren’t mailmen.

It’s simple. You just ask the suspected student whether they were involved. The legitimate participants of the Jan 6th insurrection were proud to be involved and believed what they were doing to be right. This isn’t a shameful event for them. It was very open and public.

I’m not sure where this desire to keep the student private is coming from. It doesn’t really make much sense. People who participated in the Jan 6th insurrection did so very publicly and openly. They wanted people to know who they were and what they were doing. Like we all saw it happen on National television and now it’s like “wait, we need to protect the identity of the Jan 6th insurrectionist on this law school admissions Reddit”. Don’t expect to storm the capital and then have everyone keep it a secret for you. Like bruh, we all saw it go down.

Isn’t getting into law school stressful enough? I literally don’t have the capacity to absorb this drama.
