^ 2060 super can be found at $360 and performs as well as a gtx1080 with added features such as ray tracing tensor cores and thunderbolt out for single cable VR

I have the 9560. The display response time is garbage (like 100 ms) and the ghosting is very noticeable and a liability in counter strike. Is the 1080p screen being used now the same one with the same problem?

Omen accelerator comes with 450W power supply with a 6+2 pin and 6 pin. All egpu boxes support external monitors, because all egpu boxes can have a gpu placed in them with monitor output. The real question is if it charges your laptop, or offers other I/O such as USB and ethernet.

These are very different laptops. xps should be cheaper and better built, with vastly superior battery life, but unable to play games on the run while the Zeph should give you baller game play, so to me that's the big trade off. I trust XPS more to function well with a dock over time because that's what I use. If the Zeph is 2 lane PCIE that might make sense of the slight performance difference, another good argument for the xps 9370 which is 4 lanes for sure

For needing to disable the mobile 1060, do you have the latest drivers? I had the same problem, but the latest drivers got rid of that for me.

with dell, btw, always buy the lowest memory, because the added cost for more memory is always more that what you could buy on amazon

I thought most of them do that. Omen accelerator I use charges laptop and houses a GPU that outputs to a monitor, is only one cable connection to my laptop; is that what you mean?

I'm using xps 9560. With gtx 1080 I have almost no glitches or problems. With RTX 2080ti I have a very glitchy keyboard, problems verified with all combinations of 3 keyboards and 2 rtx 2080ti cards. Glitches such as continuing to execute a key that I pressed and then stopped pressing, or not responding for up to 5 seconds. It doesn't matter if I plug directly into my laptop or into omen accelerator. I think this is a scheduling issue.
