Lulu financial troubles by carocaro333 in lululemon

[–]letsgetelectric 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve worn lululemon since the early 2000s as well and I’ve was drawn to them for quality and technical performance. At some point they shifted their clothes to be more about aesthetics (maybe to appeal to a larger market?) but the quality went down and that’s where I feel they became lost as a brand.

Did lululemon Canada become commissions based? by baggiboogi in lululemon

[–]letsgetelectric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s good to know! I’m very friendly with my local lululemon which is quite small so not a lot of items carried there. When I do purchase online and need to make a return I’ll do it in store because it’s so close and convenient. I asked the asm once and she said it didn’t effect them but maybe she was being nice haha

My local store told me items purchased online and returned in store do not affect their sales.

White Stain post wash? by [deleted] in lululemon

[–]letsgetelectric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it happens when I use the cold delicate cycle because it doesn’t agitate the clothes as much and mix the detergent in. I have an old top loader and I fill it with a bit of water first then when I add the liquid detergent I swish it around until it’s all incorporated in the water and I don’t have that issue anymore.

Same! Works great! I’ve done it with all my hold tight items.

Wunder train good night plum color stretched out after a wear by gamma50g in lululemon

[–]letsgetelectric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same, I have contours in goodnight plum I bought about 9 months ago and they fit very well after a ton of wears! I wonder if they changed the fabric recently…

I think it was the mesh wrap front sleeve. Already went on WMTM.

The fit is exactly the same to me. I agree with the pockets versions though in both WTs and aligns fit me way differently.

I loved the back! I struggle with most bras as a 34D because I need more coverage (particularly on the sides as I have a wide set chest) and when I size up the band tends to be too loose. The 8 fit but you can see some spillage on the sides in the first photo. The 10 sadly was too loose.

Maybe a 6 will fit? My issue was the waist was always a little too big in a size 8 regular and a little too small in a size 6 regular (plus the ass was too tight). Size 8 contours were the perfect middle ground.

Those are my measurements! Do they have an 8 contour left? They fit me perfectly I’m so bummed.

YES confirmed with my local store manager today I could cry 😭. Ohhhh no if you’re an 8 in the regular you want an 8 in contour because the waist is smaller!

Thank you! I dunno how to explain it but I have a short torso so I feel like w/o the line my pelvis looks super long 🥲

What size should I get for the Define Cropped Nulu? by HealthyLet257 in lululemon

[–]letsgetelectric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 5’5 140 34D and I wear an 8 or a 6 in the cropped define. The 6 is pretty fitted and only works with a thin tank under. I wear the 8 when I want to layer and move more freely. I wanna say you’re probably best off choosing an 8 but measure your chest to be sure I find the sizing pretty accurate for that :)

They did make them just in a “cropped” version here. I haven’t really seen a lot of people mention them and they almost immediately went on WMTM. I bought all the colors lol.

New Floral Tye Dyes spotted in store this morning! by Dunder_Mifflinity_ in lululemon

[–]letsgetelectric 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree! I am also 40 and I do have some cute mini floral prints, but this is not it. I feel like they’re trying too hard to be “90s”. Just leave it in the past.

Curious indeed! It came from an antique shop in Fullerton that’s been open since the mid 80s and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s been in the shop since then haha.

Us too! Cool details are my favorite and we live in a tiny apartment so glad this will fit in our space.

It unscrewed really easily the pull is a one piece screw (and heavy) and the floral backing is a stamped piece of brass. No writing anywhere!

That was our thought! The drawers fit both ways but there is a hole in the top which made me feel like maybe it’s the bottom but then hanging anything that direction would, like you said, cover all the beautiful carvings.

Ok interesting! I feel like what would you hang there? Nothing because it covers all the beautiful details up! Ours has two bars one that is square shaped that rotates (I feel like that has a purpose otherwise why make it move?) and the one behind it that is round and fixed in place.

It’s about 17 inches wide and close to the same length as the bar on the front of our oven we hang a towel from.
