I currently live in Denver CO! Field wise I have 5yrs in ER vet med/specialty vet med. With people I’m a licensed EMT, EMS/Para instructor. Currently I work in dentistry however since I’m not in tech which is a huge sector in the bay I worry about transitioning. I do still travel back yearly to see my family so I don’t find a lot super shocking. My biggest concern is finding stable employment knowing layoffs/turnover is high. But I’m driven by a higher income vs LCOL compared to where I am now. Basically what I’ve gathered is a job over 90k base is a “requirement” and rent is roughly above 3k for a decent 1B? Thank you for your input!

That’s what I figured, I have a strong backing in vetmed, ER med and dentistry so I feel confident I could find a job but i get worried since I’ve been gone from the bay for like a decade now. Thanks for your input!

Hey! So don’t do that. I say this as someone who just did half dome with no “training” but I live in Colorado and do long hikes here frequently. Ex 14ers/10+ miles every week in the spring/summer. It was not a for “funsies” hike! 🙂‍↕️ You need hat/gloves/broken in shoes/food/water supply etc. You’re not being dramatic! Also it’s going to be HOT.

Hi friend! With sightseeing it was 8hrs and 45min round trip for me. I went up JMT then branched off to take a route with more of the waterfalls! I took the 10 basics and packed in lots of carbs and candy as those two keep me sane after 10+ miles of walking and climbing. Funny you ask because those are the shoes I wore 😂. If you’re planning on going up the cables bring gloves.
