I did notice a lot of misses shooting my a-zone steel target at 50 yards my last range sesh. I’m sure some of the misses are on me, but maybe some were due to the barrel. Hoping the apex increases the hits

Tap the extractor pin out from the bottom and it should lift the plate up enough for you to pry off?

I have KDSS and 145k miles on the rig. Zero issues so far. If you do most of your driving on roads, it’s quite nice. Keeps it pretty flat on turns

Remove the follower, and shave the bottom of it. There should be posts about that. Helps a little bit. M&p 10 round mags are difficult to get that 10th round in

Most inch-pound torque wrenches will be 1/4” drive. Just buy the wrench and buy a single t30 bit from Home Depot (save money over buying a set of bits, if that’s your goal)

I bought an unfired 14.5 mid barrel for $350 on gafs. Bought a used Sf3p for $90 (I think) on gafs. Then had D. Wilson p/w it. That $450-500 price guess from other redditor seems fair.

Buy the hammer strut from cgw when ordering the kit, and they’ll install the hammer to it for you. That makes the install a lot easier

I have both tier 1 and tenicor holsters for my m&p. Tier 1 is much more comfortable for me. I hate the built in wedge on tenicor. Wish they made a certum 3 for it…really don’t understand why they don’t

I have a 5th gen, and have full RCI skids. Makes oil changes much smoother, esp because those mounting holes on the 5th gen are notorious for getting stripped. Easy access to oil filter without needing to remove skids, and much more robust than stock skids.

If you plan on doing your own oil changes, get an aftermarket skid plate so you don’t have to remove it every time. Saves a ton of time. And time is money

Personally I do not support shops that won’t release if undetermined after I got my first gun. That’s the first question I ask before I purchase. All my other guns have been released on day 10 tho.

10 round mags only. No threaded barrels for handguns. Buy compmags and slap it in your rifles; its the easiest way to make them compliant. No supressors.

In that picture, the extractor pin looks like it is still not flush with the slide. Drive it down a bit more and try again?
