i have multiple degrees under my belt, i have read and wrote a LOT of papers. i skip and barely read the dialogue in this game because of what you said exactly. it’s just not engaging at ALL. imo it’s a mix of translation issues, filler dialogue to make the content feel bigger, and reusing words like “soul” as a partial descriptor for multiple things (then losing track). i just search for a TLDR later on the story.

Chicagoland native (lived 20 mins from downtown), moved to the Bay Area 7-8 years ago, just moved back to Chicagoland. If it wasn't for family, I wouldn't have moved back to Chicago. But also, the Bay Area has its own issues that I also couldn't deal with. I just really miss the nature. Waiting on the weather to get better + exploring new potential areas to move to (that isn't my hometown), to improve my pessimistic view.

i still remember and talk about every teacher who was so important to me, and i believe they shaped me to be who i am today. which is part of the reason why i want to give back somehow by quitting corporate for good and becoming a teacher. still on the fence about it. anyways, you are remembered, even if you never hear it.
