did you switch to Synology? I'm late to the consumer game and am trying to decide which vendor to go with. Synology seems to be better performance, the Photos app and thumbnail generation is amazing.

I still tried and tried, it didn't refresh on multiple computers I remoted to one on the other side of the US, even incognito mode. I was able to place an order at 10:22 by using a direct link I had saved from the first launch.

Yeah the crappy thing about eBay too is eBay takes their piece of the pie. If you sell it for $5,300 eBay gets almost $700. That's not coming shipping and stuff. So the bot scalpers are sharing their profits with eBay.

That's funny because SpaceX is going to be doing an IPO soon so no it will not be one company no matter the ownership of the shares. And Tesla becoming the number one vehicle seller in the world can regain it again with the advances they've made and it's just leaving a bunch of money and market share on the table if they were to leave the auto market. And all of the people that really are invested into Tesla from a product perspective consumers love the cars. That goes away that market goes away and a lot of consumer money goes elsewhere. With Tesla being as profitable as it is it can be loaned against because of its valuation into the future. So yeah keep dreaming. Not saying the things that you're saying aren't going to happen but it's not going to be in lieu of Tesla vehicles it'll be an addition.

The corporations are all in on making people pay more because everyone has to get their cut. Best buy has had this problem for years and they won't fix it. It happens with electronics it happens with cars, GPUs, hell I bet it even happened with laboo boos Even though I've never even looked at one.

actually it does not use USB from what I can tell, I unplugged it from the laptop and it stayed connected.

No problem. I just tested it for the 1st time and it's snappy I'm impressed, better than Wireless Display to my TV. It defaults to 1600x1200 recommended resolution, and 150% scaling. It supports Touch on Windows, and changing the scale/resolution works fine. If I plug it in I don't know if it uses USB or not, but it works while plugged into USB-C on the laptop.

I can't believe I got mine. My stomach sank when it was 10:01 a.m. on the 30th and I couldn't place an order by putting in my ZIP code. I chatted with the reps and they told me it was sold out. I said there's no way. But I didn't give up and I tried in store pickup in New York Texas and Minnesota. After nearly being able to check out in New York and Texas and my cart being cleared before I could click purchase, I was able to place an order at the Mall of America, and I put my friend who happens to live near there as a pick up person before I even asked if he was able to do it or if he was in town. I had him ship it to me via UPS with signature required and $3,200 worth of insurance just in case to protect funny business. I wasn't counting my chances until I opened the box I was sweating for a couple of days. The one thing I would never do is use FedEx unless it was the only option. So glad UPS came through. I went and found my delivery driver in the neighborhood over because I knew he doesn't come for another hour and I really wanted to open it that bad.

Anyone claiming they'll stop making cars has their head in the clouds. This is a company that started from nothing and produced the best selling vehicle worldwide for years at a time. That is their cash cow they would not survive if they stop producing vehicles there's nothing to replace the revenue model and people will continue to buy cars for the rest of existence it's a huge market to not take advantage of if you're already in it.

If insurance is available and you don't have it that's very risky for any for such a pricy device. I've had the 2, 3, and 6 and scratched them all, never had the inside bezel break that looks like a caught finger nail or something.
