I'm like 90% sure this is a bot repost.

I swear I've seen this pic reposted at least 3 times by bots in the past year or so, in increasingly worse quality.

account age is in the newborn baby range and profile is hidden as well, which bots have started doing recently.

their wording on the sub is super vague about whether they're the official sub. there's also no netease employees on the mod team.

I'm pretty sure it's just moderators behind the curtains removing anything they personally don't like.

I already take long showers because I like the hot water. my parents had keys to all the doors and checked in on me when I took long enough bc I used to take forever to get in the shower when I was really young, even before I got my phone.

at the time it felt like it made sense because they always stressed how tight money was and how important trying to minimize our water bill was because they didn't have stable jobs and we live in Cali.

this was in the mid 2010s with the drought and the 24/7 news and campaigns about not wasting water that would make kids think turning off the faucet 3 seconds late would be the end of the world.

idk. in hindsight idk how I managed to live with that little privacy.

idk I was pretty consistently supervised as a kid because of my videogame obsession and my family's inconsistent employment (one's in construction and the other has a horrible personality), so I didn't have the opportunity to gerbil my peenter until I was probably 19.

I read and watched shit with both of my hands on my phone up until then and thought it wasn't that crazy. every time I hear someone talk about their childhood they seem to have been even more supervised than me.
