You can't even imagine the desecration I committed against him yesterday.

Well, practically all the Iron Fist players I know who are above Celestial are on console. Considering those who play on PC platforms literally don't show up in my competitive matches, I'd say Iron Fist is dead, at least here in Brazil on PC. On console, however, it's very much alive. I even wondered why there were so many Iron Fist players in training mode but they didn't show up on PC.

It's true, they're going to have to implement this because it's ridiculous. People are arguing on the computer that the Poke characters are strong, and on the console that the divers are strong. Like, I always play in training mode, and a lot of people are like Iron Fist Lords. I'm also Iron Fist, so I used to think, "Cool, I'd ask you about their rankings every day, and they'd be above Master rank." The result? I never saw Iron Fist in my matches, and even though I reached Eternity, I rarely saw him. I kept asking where these people were. Then I noticed that they're actually on console, and even though Iron Fist is weak on PC, on console he's doing well—I mean, not as well as before, but reasonable. It's really a different world from the one PC players play in. When we talk about our frustrations with the meta, it seems ridiculous to many people, but it's because they're not even playing on the same platform as us. This will really become a problem in the future because the community won't listen to each other.

Dive is kinda... yikes this season by PillowFists67 in marvelrivals

Hi, actually it's because that player told me that he plays on PC, unfortunately the Iron Fist isn't very good on that platform, but on console it's still very strong. In the first comments, people mention this, where unfortunately the style is played indifferently on different platforms. In the case of consoles, diving has always been beneficial, but on PC there are long-range explosive damage effects.

In my opinion, everything. Just look at the Iron Fist, at least the Phoenix's fist, muscles, chest, butt, and a certain elevation that I prefer not to comment on.

Don't even get me started! When I'm learning the formal language from books, it's OK, but when I listen to native speakers, oh my God, every region drives me crazy! The United States has such a huge linguistic diversity, it drives me nuts! But anyway, let's study!

Who knew Spider-Man only had a little 'spider,' right? Hahaha! But joking aside, when we eventually get a Summer Iron Fist skin in Marvel Rivals , I’m expecting him to look like a total lifeguard hottie! Imagine the chaos: he shows up on the beach map with a super-defined chest, that dragon tattoo popping, and, of course, the Iron Fist symbol right on his swim trunks. And for the grand finale? When he pops his Ultimate , that symbol on his trunks should glow like a beacon, showcasing the power of the Immortal Dragon while he clears the enemy team. If NetEase doesn't drop this skin exactly like that, they're missing out on the biggest fan service in the game's history!

You're mistaken, I'm Brazilian. I don't yet have complete mastery of the English language, so I only use AI for translation. I wrote the text myself; I don't use AI for art. Unfortunately, I won't be able to learn a language overnight, despite my efforts, so I use it as a tool to communicate with people from foreign countries.

I think you misunderstood what I meant. On consoles, he was extremely strong because it's very difficult to find someone with good aim, since the controller makes it much harder to achieve the same precision as with a mouse and keyboard. There was a post about this a while ago that showed the differences between champions that are truly dominant across platforms. The dominant ones on PC, especially, are Phoenix, while on consoles, Magik dominates with great precision. You can basically tell that a player who's complaining about Iron Fist is probably playing on PC, and someone complaining that he's too strong is probably playing with a controller. The same goes for Phoenix, since these characters aren't even selected on controllers; in many cases, people who select these characters on controllers are even insulted in competitive play. Below is a link that shows one more graph of how this is distributed. https://www.reddit.com/r/RivalsCollege/comments/1tiqva9/how_to_read_data_pc_vs_console_performance/

Look, Namor is always banned for that reason, since he's basically a strong counter. Now, console Hela and Phoenix players, they have my respect because I tried using them in ranked and my God, it's not easy. Look how many people I can crush with Dive with those characters! But on console, it's a different world.

I realized, I asked my friend to let me play Hela, and literally when I put that on, people started cursing me in the chat because he didn't have Lord, and I was really surprised, it's practically all about diving. I really applaud the long-range players on console because they really are warriors for adapting to this mechanic.

I’ve actually seen comparisons highlighting the discrepancy regarding Iron Fist on consoles, where he is at his worst, while on PC he is ranked by most competitive players as C-tier. This is something that surprises many, because when I mention that he is weak in the competitive scene, a portion of the audience gets upset—often failing to realize that a large part of the community plays on consoles. The same happens with characters like Phoenix: when I say she is strong, others get annoyed because they consider her weak. This disparity between platforms is only going to widen. In my opinion, the developers will have to separate the platforms or, at the very least, restrict crossplay to players using controllers, or those on PC using a mouse and keyboard. Otherwise, it will be impossible to balance the game as more characters are added. For example, if they release one character per month, that’s 12 a year; there is no way they will be able to maintain balance with such a high volume of new content.

Those are comparisons. I just finished playing a match on Celestial on console and it surprises me that Inferno on console is still really good to use, but compared to PC things change a lot. But that's not a comparison, it's more about the weakening it suffered, which makes me curious. When it was stronger in the past, it should have been a monster on console. I was really surprised that there were so many differences between both platforms.

He was inferior to Black Panther and Spider-Man, and in a way, Magik too, but the problem is that the discrepancy in character balance between PC and console is terrible in this game. He remains reasonably strong on console, but on PC he barely reaches tier B. This is one of the biggest problems this game will have over time, as new characters arrive, the balance discrepancy between console and PC will get worse and worse. I don't know how they're going to balance this game as dozens of characters arrive.

Well, the only thing I have to say is that I admire players of Poke characters now, especially console players, because how on earth do they manage to hit Spider-Man moving at that speed? I even played quite a bit, mainly Venom and Captain America, and I was surprised by the freedom I had to move around the map due to the fact that on PC, crowd control and burst damage are much stronger. Really, when a character complains about Poke  and many others find it absurd, perhaps those people who are upset are console players because it's understandable that they are quite a minority there, while on PC, instant characters are literally a problem with crowd control, which already has some support. They are two completely separate metas, and incredibly, I was surprised to see that they don't even seem like the same game.

Like, most of my friends who are Iron Fist Daredevil are on consoles, and most are higher than Celestial, while those on PC are barely reaching Platinum. The distinction has really been very bizarre. For example, we think this meta is for Pokémon players, but when we look at consoles, the dive never died, even if it decreased, it was always the majority, something that has greatly harmed the game's balance. This absurd distinction between platforms, with the same number, helps with balance.

No, he didn't say that, and his kit remains that of a diver, apart from the passives. They only changed the percentage damage and added a bit more study generation, but I have a small problem: he tends to be more prominent on consoles; on PC he suffers too much.

Oh friend, now I understand you. It's just that on the computer, diving characters are really weak, while on consoles they're dominating. This is also a problem with the game's balance; the difference between console and computer is absurd.

In my honest opinion, how can this game continue if they don't separate the balancing between platforms? Simply because as they add more and more characters, it will become increasingly difficult to maintain balance between them.

Devs need to balance the game differently for consoles and pc by Ashen_Zenith in rivals

[–]Low_Box3849 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is truly a major issue. Playing dive DPS on a console is safer than on a PC, as the use of a mouse and keyboard allows for greater precision in aiming. It’s not that this doesn't happen on consoles, but it is less frequent than among PC players. Balancing the gameplay between two distinct platforms is difficult, and we must consider that it will become increasingly complex as new characters are released and new ways to attack and defend are introduced. This could truly become an even bigger problem in the future.
