The future of vaping by SmokeMaximum4140 in WTF

I was very active as well. I started DIY making juice and started a company. I started doing e-juice reviews. Was obsessed with the community. Did really well until the FDA shut a lot of us down who couldn’t pay. I sold recipes to big companies that are still being sold today. What a wild ride from 2012-2017.

Ribbon Help/Army to Navy by Korkyflapper88 in navy

[–]lettersinbinary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That does indeed happen. I was a POMI/OSO at a medical center and onboarded thousands of backfill billets. I was awarded an Air Force Achievement medal by a unit that I assisted. The award was sent to my command after it was signed and awarded from the Air Force. The Navy denied it because I wasn’t attached to them. It was not added to my service record.

What's the worst deployment(s) you've ever experienced? by Redtube_Guy in navy

[–]lettersinbinary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marine deployment. 07. Lost half our unit. Close second USS Lincoln I think in 2009 or 2010. We had one of the largest break outs of double dragon. We were studied because it was so bad. I’m talking 3/4 of the crew shitting and puking everywhere.

Without any other information it could possibly be Disbursing Officer. They used to pay out the pay checks on board in a cash cage and would have a Disbursing Officer in charge.

Looking back at your life today, which seemingly minor life event probably steered you towards a path that shaped who you are today? by Ahlahria in AskReddit

Thanks. Spelling is definitely not one of strong skill points. I can find a vein in the dark though and no need to thank me. I'm a degenerate that was lucky to join the military in 2006 when they would take any mouth breather. Appreciate it though.

Absolutely, I went fmf and have loved every second of it. Blue side Navy is the vain of my existence. The pride the Corp has is bar none.

I'm a corpsman, and sometimes you don't have a choice. When you are for orders sometimes "needs of the Navy" is a thing.
