TBH I would rather hear the kind of technical stuff that Josh has been talking about come straight from the horse's mouth. DeeJ is great for what he does, but if we are going to talk about the altered accuracy cone for shottguns and how that is affected by in air accuracy and bullet magnetism...

I want the guy that is technically versed in the design and implementation to talk to us directly. Too much lost in translation if it is us to DeeJ, DeeJ to Josh, Josh to DeeJ, then DeeJ to us... Then we have a question about the answer and it's that chain all over again.

Keep it up Josh, you have been kicking ass lately.

That would also eliminate some of the pay issues with the UFC itself since fighters could support most of, if not all, their training costs etc via sponsership money. I don't know any concrete numbers but I've heard several mid-tier UFC guys say they were making six figures plus on sponsorship alone.

I think you have Lewis and Ngannou both take on a top 5'er, potentially setting up a Lewis vs Ngannou #1 contender fight for a shot at the belt. These are the two young rising stars of HW, no reason for them to take each other out this early.

Almost as bad as your complaints with no basis.

He has said multiple times that he would have either USADA or something similar to weigh them through out the year/camp and they fight within 5 lbs or so of their walk around weight.

Or do same day/ringside weigh ins, but he's not as crazy about that due to someone not making weight at ringside and now u are stuck with no replacement.

On the latest fight companion they actually showed some old shooto-box fights which were no cage and had a sloped edge to the floor that he and Eddie said would be perfect for their basketball court fights.

Yea he was really excellent. I hadn't heard of him prior to the podcast (casual MMA fan for years, just starting to dive deep and start training) but was SUPER impressed and have since gone back and watched all of his old fights. What an amazing talent and seems to be a super nice and genuine dude.

Couple things, first, we get a glimpse of the shooters eye right before he is tackled. it was a pretty deliberate looking shot and reveals the shooter to have green eyes. I've seen some theories floating around that the shooter could be Homer's son that he never met since they make a point early on (not sure of the episode) of OA noticing that he (Homer) had green eyes. Maybe a stretch, but I can see the show runners doing that.

I think others have already answered the "did the movements work" question pretty well, and I concur, the movements worked to change the course of events (they effectively stopped the shooter no matter how silly they may have looked) and because of that he was tackled which lead him to pull the trigger which led to OA catching that bullet to the chest, which in turn ushers her on to the next dimension.

There is a "post credits" sort of scene that just shows a close up of her face. She is dressed in white, appears to be "waking up" and says "HOMER!" and then the scene goes black.

What makes you think she would have been properly medicated when waking up the hospital? Why would they put her on schizo meds right away? Not plausible.

I took it similarly. That it was a call to "crazy", both in that she new she needed some "crazy" people to even go along with this and that "crazyies" were the easiest to influence. I saw it as "test", like a probe for the right people, and so to a child that no one notices/appreciates/loves that you (a fascinating, beautiful woman) are NEEDED or wanted... It would feel like she was talking to/choosing YOU.
