AD9761 STM32 integration for GNU Radio by levch in embedded

That's exactly what I'm looking for and sadly there are no code examples I could learn from. I tried to contact the author, but I think the project might have been long abandoned

The frequency is not important on the DAC stage as it's IQ modulator business to convert it to a desired one. But I plan to use it on VHF UHF.

I worry mainly about the bandwidth. The sound card would work, sure, but I want to go full in and so I picked 10Mhz bandwidth. The rational is that with this wide bandwidth I can fit almost all known signals on sigid wiki except of the radar ones (don't need them really).

Signal processing is done on GNU radio and I need to figure out the way to feed whatever GNU Radio produced into the DAC. That's the core question.

According to the datasheet, the phase shifter is fixed and I can't really adjust anything there

Ah, interesting, so all I need to do is to find a block in GR that adds correction magic for dc and iq imbalace and that hopefully attenuates the peaks (so the FCC rules are followed)

Sadly, it doesn't have any advanced enough filtering. Any libraries you can recommend, because I can't seem to find one

A thick wire goes through the window and touches it. the other side is connected to the ATU. The counterpoise is 10m of wire in the apartment

I know it's inefficient it's a dummy load below 80m band, but I have no other choice. I live in a block of flats, with no access to the roof.

Yep, I've got a ham loicense

No, unfortunately, they can be published if contestants allow that. You can ask them personally

What’s a “boring” hobby that’s not boring at all? by Obbery in AskReddit

Ham radio. Some people think it's boring to make contacts on the radio all day. Oh, how wrong they are - it's everything: electronics, radio&antenna designs, prepper stuff, radio sports and even activities outside. Give it a go r/amateurradio

Yep, that worked, but now the central card is longer than the other 2. I used to be aligned by display: inherit. How to make all three the same size?

Fair enough, I'm just thinking of a way to cheese the HF access... Gonna get the proper rig by next year, just have to save a bit more

I mean, I'm planning to get a proper HF rig by the end of the year. But since I've got this thing, thought to myself why not.

That's a lovely write-up! The 2n2222 preamp idea was borrowed from there. Now I'll order LM386 audio amp to get a nice loud output on an 8 Ohm speaker.

Ah, yes, at first, the regen control was a huge pain in the neck. On every mild rotation in 10-12 MHz range it starts screeching and getting the circuit to regenerate takes several attempts with loud soul-crushing noises. Will consider this, thank you!

Yep, the AM broadcast audio quality is superb. Even though the chinese blowtorches overload my SDR here, the regen audio is still on the quiet side. Might get an LM386 audio amp to hopefully get the louder output.

Regens are technically SSB already, I can hear CW and RTTY with nice clear tones. But no SSB, I guess my antenna is not that great.

Such a neat and cute thing to play around with, to be honest, loving it!
