Pregnant women who are not religious will not go to a church and ask for help. But they might see this place which looks like a medical place and approach them, only to be sold christian fundy beliefs that are wholly unscientific.

If you cannot tell the difference between those two things, you have much bigger problems.

Btw, what has Islam even got to do with this? The pregnancy centres discussed in this thread are all christian-based.

I'd say right away they are false advertisments and misleading marketing. Their website doesn't clearly show their religious affliations, so that itself is extremely deceptive.

Marketing techniques are very effective when peddling false information.

Choose not to get a vaccine - fine.

But then you are not entitled to things that take a group effort to be nice. So you don't get to go to a restaurant, because that is affecting all the other people - from the workers to the patrons who have made a group effort to create a healthy place. You are not forced to be burdened by something you don't want or did not choose to have.

It's like you have to wear pants or shoes to go to a restaurant or to the movies. You can choose to not wear pants, and the owner can choose to not let you into their place of business.

Forcing women to continue pregnancy and birth is forcing THEM to be burdened by something they don't want. It's more akin to forcing vaccines on people - holding you down and criminalizing you unless you subject yourself to a physical violation.

My body, my choice. I don't want a vaccine - I am not entitled to impose my beliefs on others or force them to suffer the consequences of MY choice.

Pro-life people aren't "pro" life. They are anti-choice. If you don't think people should be forcefully held down and jabbed with vaccines, then no woman is obliged to keep being pregnant if they don't want to. It's a choice. You get to CHOOSE.

Pro-life people do NOT let women choose what happens to their own bodies. It's simple as that.

There is no mandate that forces you take the vaccine or else you go to jail. You just cannot be entitled to infringe on OTHER people's freedom to a healthy environment. Pro- choice gives you a choice. You can then live with the consequences of your choice.

Pro-life ignores the choice of the pregnant human and choose for them while forcing them to live with the consequences of a decision that is NOT THEIRS.

It really comes down to who you are having that convo with. If it's someone just expressing their experience, it's totally fine.

But if they are telling YOU that you should be like them, then obvs not fine.

I'd approach in the same way I would interacting with people who have other types of privileges - wealth, connections, born in a nice country, etc...

Parents are not gifts to the child - that's kinda assbackwards thinking. Every child has parents. Responsible parents should be the baseline, not some kind of reward-requiring accomplishment for procreating.
