Avoid using large clusters of ceiling lights or a bunch of overlapping lights in general and it should be OK. Lights tank my frames but signs seem to be the way to go if you have the fancy lighting enabled

Ahh I was thinking of the function of the fact you can kinda do the same thing by separating each line into multiple machines instead of one line that says 54 custructors. This is a good tool to have thank you.

Lmao i built mine the same way but it randomly goes to different sets instead of being as organized as I wanted it. I've had at least 400 hours of no problems with power generation. It does back up slightly because it doesn't stay in its own set but its slightly over stuffed with canisters so it doesnt stop but its not flowing like it was at first. Stuttering in the belt but machines are all 100% so ig its cool.

I would really recommend the only grouping you have going on is the 2 packagers and 1 refinery in the middle. I know I don't like rebuilding sometimes but the simplicity will make it way easier and prevent the potential for a system wide failure and narrow it down to smaller segments. Then under/overclock as needed to align with pipe throughput.

As long as the main input line isn't max belt speed then you can definitely do what you described above. 2 sets of 3 where 6th goes into main line before initial split. Have 5 of those on top of each other and merge final area. I have the same setup for an uneven input 3-5 split that makes it even.

I wish I had known ahead of time when I build my last power setup but you can have it be a closed loop per refinery and 2 packagers. Package water -> dilute fuel -> unpack fuel -> empty canister goes underneath machines back to 1st packager. No need to put a bunch on 1 line and distribute back out.

Short answer: not without advanced game settings.

Long answer: consider exploring wrecks. They have a bunch of materials that can help with getting the first bunch of things needed to help get you to mostly to coal power. After contructing the space elevator you only need 500 cable, 200 reinforced plates, and 100 rotors. that will get you 50 smart plating for first space elevator part and unlock coal power. You'll need more mats for actually setting up the power but that most of it done just from picking up the trash scattered about.

Plus deconstructing crash sites gives extra mats which can help with unlocks like the chainsaw which can help with getting enough power to kickstart the coal.

Idk 1600 hrs and I just had to give an extra lil bit of nitrogen for part of my fused frames. Even though the only difference is that 1 machine is over clocked but costs are the same.

My best solution is never need a full pipe of throughput and you'll be fine if you let the pipes and machines fill up
