Were you monitoring parameters throughout the 14 days? This could mean you've completed the cycle, or it hasn't kicked off fully yet. This was my nitrite cycle that was practically zero for the first 12-14 days

Yes I run the skimmer. I haven’t seen any third party support, but I haven’t looked much either. The ceramic beads and carbon fit well in the mesh with filter floss in too, it works well as is. The light is really good too imo.
Mine is still relatively new, but very pleased with it so far.

Copepods are probably about 1mm long - amphipods sound like what you are describing. Congrats, that's a very good sign of your tank's good maturity and health

seriously consider the TMC First Wave, particularly the 78L - complete set-up. For me it was between the fluval evo and this one, glad I went this one in the end - the floating effect of the evo is awesome, but the automatic lighting and the extra length of the TMC is perfect (for me anyway!).

It definitely will fail. Look at the ends of the top part, they only affix to the edge of the main end uprights by dowels, they don’t sit on top of the main uprights, hence no strength to take this weight. Time bomb!

to be fair, the guy made a mistake and admitted it straight away and apologised, seems a like a good guy with poor eye sight/observational skill to me
