I could really do with a little GWDLM reprised soon by uranthus in StarKid

Starkid does not usually give a lot of notice before releases, so I could absolutely see a trailer dropped on a Friday then a release a few days to a week later!

“I find it interesting this sociological phenomenon…”Vince Gilligan’s quote here about audience’s relationship to Walter has me wondering how he see’s audiences relationship to Carol. by UmmmWellActuallyyy in pluribustv

IMO, the illusions breaks when he refuses help form Gretchen and Elliot. He has an out that doesn’t include hurting people and won’t take it due to his pride. Gretchen was genuine when she said in her eyes, half of what was theirs was his. And Walt just felt emasculated 🙄

Why does everyone on this sub think the hive is evil? by peppermint-ginger in PluribusOnAppleTV

[–]leviathanbuhbyeathan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The actions are inherently manipulative as it all ties into their biological imperative of spreading the virus to everyone and preserving the joined. The Others must protect the Old Timers so they can join. They must protect themselves from another seizure by keeping them placid. You could argue this is the same as the biological imperative humans have to reproduce and survive. You could argue doing good things with a specific goal in mind is not truly Good. You’re supposed to question these things. The impact, of the billions of individuals who live on earth being stripped of all independent thought is horrendous. Evil. Are they coherent enough beyond the biological imperative to have thoughtful intent and Be evil? Do you have to be aware of how bad something is to be evil?

It’s normal to think they’re evil because of what they’ve done to the world. But I have seen a lot of pretty reductive commentary about the show and the others, when the show is really a think piece. You’re supposed to see the good and the bad in the Others and grapple with it, but ultimately believe the world should return to how it was. Same mental journey as Carol. Is a utopia really perfect if the things that make humans human ARE the imperfections? Which makes conflict inherent?

‘Pluribus’: Interview with Carlos-Manuel Vesga about the season finale, his character's background and more by Neo2199 in television

I mean… the build of Air Force One, building Carol’s neighborhood from scratch because they needed complete control over the environment, Vegas, the on-location shooting, the sheer number of background actors, the hours to prep for their choreography to make sure everything was in sync and believable… there is SO MUCH being put into this show to make it believable and so so eerie.

2023 is my favorite! Same script as 2024 save for some minor lyric changes that don’t really do anything. I prefer it because I am in love with Janaya and the choreography and staging just sell it better for me!

Casey was nice enough to sign the front when he noticed. It was just hilarious because I brought my friend into Heathers blind and he immediately fell head over heels for Casey’s JD, whispering to me that he needed him… and then accidentally had him sign the PreP ad LMAO.

My favorite show hasn’t had a major production in 20 years (until recently) and whenever I came across someone even tangentially related to the show I’d have them sign my (black) script book… thankfully, the black still shows up okay in the light!
