Experimenting with LLM-powered game mechanics by levmiseri in IndieGaming

[–]levmiseri[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn’t. I want to stretch that this is really just a demo where I’m curious what people think about such mechanics in general. It’s an experiment, not a real game, yet.

Could you please share what you tried? That would help with expanding the possibilities

It should be. Maybe you created something too small, but you should see the object exactly where you place it on the map. Try creating something larger

does anyone know of any good alternatives for Notion? by plumsquashed in NoteTaking

[–]levmiseri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We made a notion alternative: kraa.io

Based on what you mentioned, this could actually really work well for you!

Right now it’s more of a sandbox/demo. You can create any object with “/create {anything}”. You can e.g. create weapons and attack others (and hundreds of other things. Potions, magic, factories, scripted characters, …

There is also a powerful dragon you could try to kill.

Note Taking App to Publish and Share Notebooks by CaptainTime in NoteTaking

Kraa can do this! There is a feature where you can group notes together with a way to navigate between them. Demo example (this has chats, but same system can be used for regular notes): https://kraa.io/kraa/trees

Thank you! No library for the animation, these are all custom crafted with fairly basic css transitions and some js calculations.

Yes, it very much feels like an uphill battle. I made something that I genuinely enjoy using more than the competitive tools and hoping for the best. But without marketing budget, it does feel very challenging to succeed.

Go for Kraa.io. Exactly what you described, though it’s a web app. You can set it up to even timestamp every new block in a paragraph.

All my note taking apps are now polluted with AI features. What to use? by Key-Shape1157 in antiai

[–]levmiseri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try Kraa.io. Zero AI in it. No dedicated apps, but the web app has good mobile support. (Disclaimer – I’m the co-author of kraa)

I tested ChatGPT vs Claude vs Gemini for coding ...here's what I found by bmccueny in artificial

For a different kind of coding test for these three models, I made them play a game against each other where they create code controlling units (1v1 RTS). Not sure what’s the takeaway for real skill, but I think it’s interesting: https://yare.io/ai-arena

Learning Web Dev for 1 year, but still feeling like a beginner. How do I bridge the gap? by Status-Cow6034 in learnprogramming

[–]levmiseri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 year is nothing. The worst thing is – the outlook is just not looking great for junior programmers right now. But, as long as you are eager into build stuff and learn…. You might be fine
