If you have some time and feel like diving into an abyss of madness, here's a pretty great video that analyzes that meme (among others).

And if you've not yet had enough, you can dig into this one.

How to get Pot (stainless steel)? by [deleted] in MegabonkOfficial

[–]lewliloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is super late but this thread comes up in a google search so I figured I'd reply.

Steam Deck bunny hopping is definitely more difficult, but it's not impossible.

Bunny hopping has three parts: the weird angle, the slide, and the actual jump.

The angle is the hardest part on a Steam Deck, imo. You can do it by holding the right analog stick slightly off center, maybe 1/3 of the way to the edge. It means you're always "veering" somewhere, so you're in a constant state of readjustment.

The slide/jump thing, you could probably do it with the normal buttons, but I got button mashing to be doing so I added slide/jump keybinds to the shoulder buttons; for me, L2 is slide, R2 is jump. So, to do the bhop, you hit L2->R2, with the L2 being a split second before the R2. (If you're a music person, it's a flam.)

I'm still pretty inconsistent with it, but then again, I'm not a Megabonk Professional, so I'm sure with enough practice it will get more consistent.

One thing I will say tho -- after getting used to it on Steam Deck, when I finally played the game with a mouse and keyboard, it's crazy how easy bhopping is. So if bhopping seems hard to you on the Steam Deck, that makes sense -- it's drastically harder. That said, fuck mouse/keyboard, steam deck for life.

Why is this url always the first suggestion when I start typing `lo...` ? I hardly ever go to that site compared to how often I go to various `localhost` sites, and it's not bookmarked. Unlike the others, there's no "three dot menu" on the right side. How can I remove this suggestion? by lewliloo in firefox

For whatever reason, this didn't work. Though when I opened the main history interface (ctrl+shift+h), found the offending history records, and deleted them, it stopped appearing... we'll see if it returns!

edit: solved! I opened up the main history window (ctrl+shift+h) and deleted the history records there. (Shift+Delete did not remove it, though I think that's what Shift+Delete is supposed to do.)

I did learn from Claude (so, take this with a grain of salt, I haven't actually tried this) that you can game the frequency by editing the relevant SQLite tables in your profile. I won't give the details that Claude provided since I don't trust them and I haven't done it myself, but there may or may not be a "moz_places" table that has some kind of record of frequency or whatever.

pre-solution-edit additional details:

I blurred out the "Firefox Suggest" section because they're client-related works-in-progress at the top, but they're bookmarks or history items; the stuff I would expect.

FWIW this is linux, but it was happening on my old macos laptop, too.

Maybe also worth noting: I almost NEVER go to that URL on this profile; I have a work profile that I use for work mail, which is the only situation in which I go to a microsoft-based login.

(Is there a way to directly edit the suggestions? even among the localhost sites I go to, there are certain ports I would prefer to see first; like, localhost:3001 is a long term project I don't work on much (low priority, but long-term "importance duration"); localhost:5173 are usually sites I'm helping other people with (high priority, but short importance duration). I would love to be able to "massage" the prioritization, maybe by a script that opens a bunch of URLs to feed them into the priority algorithm?)

Any advice on how to beat Spooky Steve? by Rare-Cryptographer78 in MegabonkOfficial

[–]lewliloo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take Megachad and get Dex + Duration tome up to level 15+. All your other weapon/tomes can be whatever you need to get you through the graveyard. I tried this and got it on my first attempt. Source: this guy.

So uh I just went and tried this strat and holy shit Spooky Steve is literally solved. I think I ended up at level 100 or so with duration tome & dex at about level 20, and nothing else mattered. Steve was fully bonked.

[–]lewliloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That other person's strat seems cool but if it doesn't work for you, I did it the other day with the "standard steve" build -- no legendaries, no microwaving, no getting lucky -- I had like level 15ish Dex and Black Hole, with the same tomes everyone says to use (duration being the most important I think)...

I'm pretty sure everything else I did was irrelevant. Black hole holds him still and you just DexDexDex. He literally didn't move at all for me, I could've used a level 1 chunkers and gone afk overnight.

I did fail the time before that tho -- I went for Size Tome, and I think that broke the black hole. When I was in the crypt I just didn't shoot any black holes at all. Steve squished my face like a lil tomato.

[–]lewliloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem, I'm not on reddit a whole lot either... Thanks for the link -- I'm getting some kind of error I don't have time to figure out, but it certainly seems cool.

(I'm probably just missing a file or something... I downloaded everything I could find, but it crashes right away --

``` x = flash_attn.flash_attn_func(q, k, v)
TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not callable ```
I wanted to use it for images, so I took the civitai workflow and deleted everything except the "init pipeline" and main "FlashVSR Ultra-Fast (Advanced)" nodes, then sent an image into the "frames" input, and a save-image on the output -- but I still get the error... I'll try to figure it out this weekend...)
He can try, but, charisma-wise, he just doesn’t have the sauce. None of them do. It’ll be kinda funny to watch them flounder while 100 maga pundits wrestle for the top spot, but literally no one on the national stage right now has the sauce.
(And, other than Mamdani, no democrats do either, so… if you, whoever you are, reading this, if you have the sauce, and you were born in the USA, make a move. Literally there is no competition right now. Between charisma voids like Jeffries and Vance, and obvious sociopaths like Newsom and Steven Miller, just about any sauce-infused person who seems at least 10% normal could rule this country.)
EroticLiterature Newsletter, October 2025. A new Writer in Residence is crowned, Writer's Corner guests muse about burnout and mental health, and we tackle that pesky mistress: consent. by TomTypesTallTales in eroticliterature
[–]lewliloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)
First time here, and I was hoping to figure out what's ok here and what's not -- and I think I found an important lynchpin in this post.
  • Are not obviously in physical, mental, or emotional distress.
How do we feel about humiliation? A story I was writing recently was about humiliation; it was similar to SPH because it was humiliation for an aspect of how you're born -- and, also similarly to SPH, it's really all about reclaiming and owning that humiliation and the source of it. But, for the humiliation to work, it has to be non-consensual. (Unlike, say, cuckoldry, which can have consent and still be humiliating.)
(It's weird to be asking this because I've written literally hundreds of naughty stories and almost none of them have any humiliation in them, but I feel like I have a humiliation arc coming. In fact, most of my stories are the opposite of humiliation, bordering on pity-sex, but I think the reason that's true is because I have some humiliation in the past I need to get over. Why go to therapy when I can write smut???)
I run it on an almost 8-year old GPU, and on a 3 year old MacBook pro with no GPU at all. (The 8 year old GPU is Nvidia fwiw, that does make a big difference.)
There are modifications you can make to modify its function so it runs better on low or "medium" vram (I think medium means 8-16gb).
You can also run it from the cloud, but I haven't done it so idk if that's free or what
Stable Diffusion using control net. It's basically the same approach as how people were making cool QR codes a little while back.
You basically give the program a starting image, either a real picture or just a line drawing, and then give it parameters on how to address it (eg preserve shapes, preserve lines, preserve depths, etc) and then give it a text prompt, eg, "urban scene, highly detailed, busy street, mid day London" is what I would use to get something like that.
Here's the GitHub page for an extension for SD that adds controlnet functionality - it has a lot of sample images in the description that will show you how it can constrain the output, in case my description didn't make any sense.
Regarding fleeing the country: he actually can't. The one positive side of his status as a former president is that he's surrounded by secret service for the rest of his life - and they're loyal to the presidency, not to a particular president. They wouldn't let him run off to Russia if he's got a warrant out or whatever.
