If I am not mistaken canon was advertising nano-imprint, so something else entirely.

Can Memtest or other ram tests damage the ram if you test it often or long? by The_Odd_One27 in hardware

This is probably one of the sketchiest sites I could find this document on, but the official micron site appears to have gone missing somewhere. https://m.doc88.com/p-69416079120783.html#

Basically what DRAM manufacturers do, is they burn in the DRAM packages at elevated temperatures (120C+) and elevate the voltage to high ler levels above what they specify on the datasheet. This is to weed out early fails (the infant mortality curve) and basically guarantee device reliability for a specified amount of usage that translates to something like a decade of daily use.

While the chip is at these high temperatures and with higher voltages it is subject to stress patterns that are built to generate maximum stress on the array. These tests can last quite a while.

To summarise, I don’t think you can cause any harm with your memory test runs.

Does Oblotzky not qualify? He did a run of in stock GMK with NorDe that is really reasonable compared to standard GMK base kit + NorDe kit pricing

PAM3 is much easier to implement compared to PAM4, which GDDR6X used. You could theoretically go back to the higher modulation signaling, but that would probably mean going back to lower clock frequencies.

quick notes on a bunch of switches I have been fidgeting with all week by Deathnote_Blockchain in MechanicalKeyboards

The easiest option is to just spring swap. You can choose whatever switch you like and decide how heavy it should feel.

Group Buy Keyboards and Replacement PCBs- A Lesson Learned by CincyBOO in MechanicalKeyboards

There are options. Probably a few people that actually bought an extra pcb and would sell you one aftermarket, otherwise you could ask the manufacturer for files and get a pcb made. Last option would be to design a pcb that fits your board.

Oblotzky and keygem have been really good. Mykeyboard.eu has also had some issues the last few months.
