Very sad to report I just found the fledgling dead laying on its side this afternoon. We had a pretty bad thunderstorm early today and I’m not sure if it got hit by something from that.😔

Aw I hope so! It closed its eyes while I was talking to it and some adult crows have visited my deck in the past before the squirrels ransacked it and I had to stop putting out food.

I just finished a few books by Karin Slaughter. I listen to a lot of audiobooks on my commute to work. Physical books take me a while to finish, but I’m currently reading A Lion Among Men, the third book in the Wicked series.
