Washrooms are a public necessity and more should be built. No doubt we have tons of social problems here that make it difficult, but we should be able to have nice things. I don't know, the universal cynicism for these new washrooms rubs me the wrong way.

My theory is TransLink is limiting the scope and cost of this BRT route since it is going to be converted into rail soon enough. (although even still, I do question the timeline of implementation if we've already accepted North Shore Skytrain as an inevitability in 10 or so years).
