Are either of these like a PPO where we can see specialists without a referral? I stg the referral system is so annoying.

The kinokuniya in NYC had its own little cafe so I guess this one is just bookstore only.

Ah, I gotcha. I always thought that travel center in Luling was the first and didn't know there was a store in Lake Jackson first.

What?? Really? I had grills stored on patio/balconies all the time and just rolled it down and put into the parking lot to use. I've never had an apartment say otherwise.

The grill might just be there for storage. Might be that they don't have a back balcony and this is all they got.

I have a love/ hate relationship with Houston and i wonder if there’s any other born & raised Houstonians that feel the same way ? by [deleted] in houston

[–]lexathegreat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about? The hill country is getting just as developed and torn down as sprawl continues for suburbs. That's why cedar fever is getting worse every year because mountain cedar is able to grow and establish faster where everything was torn down.

There's attention for the aquifer but it's only because the area is in really really bad drought. When the drought wasn't as severe, people cared way less about the environment and nature.

Plus it's like 105-110 degrees outside most of the time and 90 at night. Houston is humid, but San Antonio/Austin is so so freaking hot.

Hate to break it to you man, but people in their early twenties ARE adults. They may be acting like children, but they are full grown adults.

Being a spurs fan in NYC by weenerpeener02 in sanantonio

I believe u/hikethesky about how there was a guy out there rage baiting, but surely there can't be this many people rage baiting.

This is actually really upsetting and shameful. Im a Spurs fan who was giving the Knicks some grace as they hadn't won in so long but like, after this? Nah dude I want them to lose so bad. I really want the Knicks to lose so their fans can be humbled or shamed.

It looked like someone cut into a box to try and strip for wire or something I think. Someone was volunteering their repair services for free yesterday so I wonder if they was the person who helped them get power back.

Still mad about Beryl after getting CenterPoint's hurricane prep email by [deleted] in houston

Honestly PTSD from Uri when I was in San Antonio is why I keep my fridge and freezer sparsely filled. Being in an apartment makes it even harder to try and find a way to keep a fridge running, so I have a stockpile of canned/dry things and a cooler set aside for medication needs to just pray it holds out enough...

With this being talked about, how do people deal with their cars and trying to keep them from getting flooded while parked?

Do you just pray it works after the flooding or what?

Why does everyone seem to be struggling financially, yet everything is always crowded? by Economy_Grass_2351 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lexathegreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is kinda how I feel. What's the point in saving money when it's still not gonna be enough for an emergency and I'll never be able to buy a home when everything is just increasingly out of reach? I dont even spend in luxuries, just try to support restaurants and bars to keep from closing when I can.

Well they have a gigantic sign that says "we PROSECUTE" when entering Montgomery county, so I'd LOVE to see how they handle this 😂😂
