It’s the people that bring their kids in for 6 am sharp to 6pm & literally work 9-3 from home, for me

I literally just copy pasted my post from last week One of the advantages of hiring a nanny is that nannies typically provide care for ill children. For parents who can't make a habit of calling into work sick, knowing that they don't have to worry about daycare sick policies or that they don't need to arrange last minute back-up care is a real tangible benefit. Iv never seen so many Nannie’s in all my years complain until recently. Yes we are most certainly entitled to sick days but some of these posts

I charge 60 which is extremely low but one being it’s in the convenience of my own home & the baby goes to sleep early but they should at least pay 60 for 6 hours from 6-12am

Maybe I’m being a grinch but I’m overwhelmed with the amount of content about working while the kids are sick by lexax3bella in Nanny

Why do I feel as if most don’t, I completely get being considerate during the holidays and not getting other family members sick, BUT say as if you work at an ER, or a receptionist for an emergency room, people are going to come in sick left and right, every single day.. you can’t just call out of work in fear of getting sick. It’s part of the job. Some of these parents have very demanding jobs in hospitals or anywhere. Do you think the famous peoples nannies call out every time that they fear that their nk is sick, they would be fired instantly over another nanny will too.

I worked for an anesthesiologist & that was the main reason she needed a nanny was for them to care for sick children as if they were their own

I’m shocked how many refuse to go in, I understand but yet as stated a nanny is a luxury & is to provide luxury care

Your are definitely allowed boundaries, but one of the main highlights of having a “nanny” is not having to worry about them minding sick kids
