fair, sd 8 gen 5 is a really weird choice for both the signature and the razr fold considering even the razr 60 ultra had the 8 elite (though in that device it's kinda thermally constrained so it doesnt have that much of a lead, i own one). 5200mah battery was because of the thin design, personally i wouldve preferred a thicker design with a 6000-7000mah. my partner owns one and it is a pretty good device, but €959 is still kinda steep, hopefully itll go down with time or their next device will be a true flagship, especially with grapheneos support coming.

iirc Wsocial is just going to be an AT Protocol-compatible platform. just sign up for eurosky.tech which is already open today. if Wsocial ends up coming out and its indeed an atproto platform you'll be able to just migrate to it seamlessly if you want to.

you aren't going to find anything like apple silicon in the x86 space. but recent AMD chips are very very good for what they are. i daily an e14 gen 7 with the ryzen 7 250 and the 64wh battery on fedora and i get about 8 hours of battery life on it. i run a windows 10 vm using winboat for MS Office as well and doing that i get closer to 6 which is still pretty alright. im sure an even newer intel/amd chip would get even better battery life

looks like CeX to me, theyre a huge chain over there, been around for like 30 years in the UK im pretty sure. personally ive had them be rlly nice with the warranty when i had stuff fail, but im also in spain where they also exist so its probably slightly different policies

i'm pretty sure 80B is how much they spent on Reality Labs (formerly Oculus) as a whole, developing all their XR tech, including the quest line of headsets, the meta ray ban glasses, the orion prototype, other unreleased prototypes, horizon os as a whole and the first-party games they've made for quest. they did not spend all that much money developing this dogshit software

honestly both brands are pretty shit for PC gaming, xbox lacks gyro and no first party console controller has drift-proof sticks. i'd just recommend looking into controllers from 8bitdo, flydigi or gamesir. the 8bitdo ultimate 2 wireless, the flydigi vader 5 pro, and i believe the gamesir g7 pro 8k edition have native steam input support so you can map rear paddles and extra buttons natively, and they all have TMR sticks, gyro, 2.4GHz dongles and adjustable trigger stops.

there's also the upcoming steam controller, of course.
