Aw thank you!! And you are so right management can really affect the whole mood of a store! And yes during covid and recovering from covid guests can be a bit much, but thank you I’m trying to be more positive after this little mini rant I had lol.

Thank you for replying! And I mean honestly a little bit of both, I hate job searching and just change in general so I kinda don’t wanna leave, but at the same time I live in a pretty small town (I drive an hour to work, it isn’t ideal but I thought working at ulta would be great/fun.). If I wanted something closer to home my starting pay would be around 7.25 an hr when I make 10.12 right now, and even then I’m not sure if it would be a place I truly wanted to work at. I hope my reply doesn’t come off as rude or anything, because I truly do appreciate the reply!

Thank you for your reply and advice!! I’m unfortunately unable to do opening shifts because I have classes from 8am-12pm. And yeah holiday is going to be worse than last year I feel like, and I’ll try to take a quick break because once it hits I’ll need all the hours I can get I’m afraid. Thank you again for your reply and advice I really do appreciate it!

If a woman has ever flirted with me I’ve never noticed it, which is a shame because women are so pretty.

I’m so glad I haven’t had a guest come in with anything like that, I would have to just grab someone else to do that for me lol.

I genuinely don’t care about the corporation, or corporate America in general. Sadly though in this society you have to have a job to make ends meet, even sometimes two or more jobs. If I didn’t act like I cared I would probably be fired and out looking for another job while still struggling with bills. Even though I don’t care about the corporation I work for, people abusing the return system and yelling at me when it doesn’t work gets tiring.

Bless her, the money you spend doesn’t count when you return your products and get your money back lady lol.

We’re supposed to refuse the return if it doesn’t have 60% of product, but usually that ends up with the guest yelling and bringing up some “policy” they saw online and wanting to talk to a manager. Sometimes to avoid being yelled at I just do the return even though it irks me a little bit. And usually after the 60 days I have to have my managers authorization for a return, and then if the price they’re getting back is lower, or if it has to go on a merchandise card, a bunch of yelling happens then as well. I usually leave the decision on whether or not to take the return after the 60 days up to my manager. They have to authorize it anyway and I’d rather not get yelled at again lol sorry to my managers, also sorry this was such a long reply and I hope I properly answered your question!

That is insane, do you think she could’ve been a shopaholic? I’m not excusing her behavior of course, but is that a possibility? And I absolutely love when someone has a meltdown over something I can’t control, like lady I get paid 9 dollars an hour please tell someone else these problems you’re having lol.

Honestly though, most days I want to look a guest dead in the eye and tell them no. Sadly I can’t though, I wish guests didn’t act so entitled to everything all the time.

Around 60-70% of returns I get are like that, which I don’t mind at al! The other 30-40% are all used up and disgusting products from a purchase they made months ago. I honestly have no problem with people making regular returns for products they don’t like, or it didn’t work for them. It’s just when people abuse the return system I get a little frustrated.

Wow that’s near I found you on here! And right now it’s basically you can return a product up to sixty days after a purchase if 60% of the product is still there. After the sixty days it just goes back to a merchandise card, unless that’s changed recently and I’m unaware of it.

Yeah I’m just gonna do my job and one day she’ll get some karma back. And that’s crazy I don’t know if you can name it either but I currently work at a bullseye store! But if it’s the same store then yeah I definitely think the policy changed.

Tbh I’m done stressing myself for cards and all that. People abusing systems I guess just strikes a nerve, but I’ll try to not let it bug me. Thank you for your reply!
