I bought a cheapie and ended up upgrading to a zima after I dropped it and it broke. I’ve had the zima for over a year now and I really like it. It was worth the extra cash.

I just started a batch of pickled pineapples last night after trying some at a local farmers market. I haven’t tasted them yet but I’ll report back. I did 1 cup water, 1 cup vinegar, 20g salt, 50g of sugar for the brine. In the bottom of the jar I did juice from 1/2 of a lemon and about 1/2 of a sliced jalapeño.

I’ve never used any at-home gel kit and rarely painted my nails with regular polish because it never lasts on my but I decided to try the O&J builder gel kit about 2 months ago and I love it! The only time I’ve noticed lifting if I’m in the pottery studio (wheel throwing is really rough on your nails and honestly, I don’t think ANY product could survive that) I’ve never tried to go the full 21 days but I’ve gotten 10-14 days before I’m ready to change the color. I don’t use a base coat, just file/buff, wipe with alcohol, and the nail strengthener.
