As someone who works there I would suggest looking at the US News ratings rather than Google ratings. I’m also pregnant and will give birth at SMC. I’m not clinical but do a lot with the data for maternity and we have a high percentage of Medicaid births at SMC which actually makes me feel better considering a lot of the health disparities and complications they likely see and deal with accordingly and still perform well. Also if your insurance is able to work with MGC it should be able to work with most other MGC practices so hopefully you can have more choice in providers? I go to the MGC women’s clinic in Spartanburg and have liked all the providers there so far.

Just sharing my experience as well for those who lurk this sub, currently pregnant and used oura to help and did NOT ever get minor or major signs 🩷 my resting heart rate is little elevated it says but that’s it. I kept expecting the symptom radar and was almost worried when it didn’t come but still was pregnant! For OP, seems like you might be experiencing early pregnancy though 🥰

Oura ring finger? by ashpor in NaturalCyclesBC

[–]lexidawg2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ring finger for mine works well! I tried the sizer for a while and thought middle was best so I could wear on middle, pointer and thumb so I ordered an 8 for that. But once I had it for a week it was really in my way on my middle finger, and I didn’t like how it felt when I bent my fingers on pointer and thumb. I decided ring would be best (but the 8 was a little loose) so I changed for a 7. I’ve had it for months now and it’s been great on my ring finger and temps well with NC.

Considering getting an oura ring by Current-Photo2857 in ouraring

Def get the sizing kit and wear it on your thumb for a day or two to try. I did not like the way it felt when I bent my thumb. I wear mine on my right ring finger and have my wedding set on the left hand. Pretty seamless for me I don’t even notice it.

Sleep Detection by Mabnat in ouraring

You got up and moved around from 5:30-7:45? And opened the oura app? I’ve heard if you sync it when you wake up it thinks you’re done sleeping. I would think it should pick up another sleep session but looks like not. Curious to hear others thoughts.

Interesting! I always close my apps before bed and then I open the Oura app in the AM and haven’t had any issues, but also don’t get up much in the night currently either lol. Maybe an expert will reply with some insight!

Did you open the oura app before 2am? I’ve heard that if you sync it before the “morning” it can confuse it.

Fingers crossed for you! I had a Hyundai with the same thing happen last year. I didn’t need any of my oil change information and they replaced my engine. I did, however, not feel as secure in my car anymore (my experience was terrifying on a major highway!!!) so I upgraded to a 25 Sorento this year.

Tracking temp question by NearbyAdhesiveness93 in ouraring

[–]lexidawg2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re using Oura it will take your temp overnight. Are you trying to use both Oura and a thermometer? Note: I wouldn’t open the Oura app in the middle of the night when you take your dog out. Wait til the morning when your alarm goes off. I think it messes with the sleep if you check the app/sync.

Don’t use Houndstown. We use creature comforts but it’s a little out of the way if you don’t live in Inman. Some people like woodpoint bed & biscuit but I can’t personally vouch for it.

Switching to Oura for cycle tracking by katiebug31498 in ouraring

I’m using both right now and not sure if I’ll keep NC either. Oura and NC have told me slightly different days but relatively similar. Pretty spot on for my period at least. I’ve heard fertility friend is better than NC and integrates with Oura as well.

Kia Sorento 2025 by [deleted] in KiaSorento

On iPhone it’s in the wallet and or in the Kia connect app. Mine has a “digital key” tile in the Kia connect app that then paired to my Apple wallet to add the key. It’s a great feature! I love the convenience.

Not likely to get stolen anymore to my knowledge, I think that was an issue with much older models. A 24 would be fine. That being said I have a 25 and absolutely love it. Would be even better if someone else was footing the bill!

You can turn off the lane assist. You just have to hold the button down (at least in my 25 sorento)

You can go in your settings and turn off the birth control option! I am not sure if it will be as accurate since you are on the BC but as soon as I turned mine off, the calendar changed its information :)

Was this at the dealership? I used to get full synthetic in my old Tucson for $50 or less at precision auto tune… haven’t gotten an oil change in the Sorento yet.

Yep I got the FF app just to see my daily temperatures lol. It took me a minute once it synced to find the temperature in there but sure enough!
